What time do my children need to come to school in the morning? When the first J-Term class begins at 9:10a

What time does J-Term school day end?

The J-Term school day ends at its normal time, 2:50 pm. There are three different schedules that run during J-Term: 1 Regular J-Term Schedule, 2 - Mass Day J-Term Schedule, and 3 - an Assembly Schedule. Please watch the Pacelli Catholic High School Website and Google Calendar for the correct schedule. -

How many credits do they earn for taking a J-Term class?

Each J-Term class is worth .25 credits and is calculated into the student?s GPA, so it is important to do their best work. -

What do I do if my child is sick?

During January, we understand that students get sick. As teachers, we will work to support the students when this happens. We encourage parents to work closely with the teachers when an absence is required in order to keep the student and our school healthy. -

What is the dress code?

We are following the school?s normal dress code policy during J-Term. Monday?s will be jeans days and Fridays will be mass days. The rest of the week will be regular dress code. Students involved with sports or outdoor activities should dress accordingly.

ACT Test Pr ep In f or m at ion & Regist r at ion There are two sessions of the ACT Test Prep being offered in February. Please see the flyer and the Pre-registration card for more information. Pre-registration is due by January 31, 2017 in the main office and make checks payable to PCS.

J-Ter m Fu n & Lear n in g Small Engine class has been keeping very busy making things work again. From snow blowers & lawn mowers to leaf blowers and small garden tractors. If it needs repair this is the class that will work on fixing it.

College Career Readiness class talked with past PCHS graduates to find out what life after high school is like.

The Personal Training class have been doing a lot, from stretching to yoga and including a trip to Adventure 212 they are keeping busy and learning lots.

The Forensic Science class went on a field trip to Fox Valley Tech College in Appleton this week.

They experienced how to take Palm prints along with Finger prints.

Hopefully, I will be able to make it four sports this year."

Our Literal Service Learning class getting all bundled up to go with Marlene from the Transportation Department to the city bus stop and over to Operation Bootstrap.

Car din al Spor t s Hock eyThe Pacelli Co-op hockey team hosted the Ashwaubenon Jaguars on Thursday 1/5 at Ice Hawk Arena and they lost 6-0. Trevin Milbauer had 28 saves in the goal. The Cardinals are currently 1-7-1 and their next game is Tuessday Jan. 10th when they travel to Reedsburg, face-off is set for 7:00 pm. Gir ls Hock eyThe Pacelli Co-op Girls Hockey Team participated in the Culvers Cup Tournament in Madison over the Christmas Break. In the first game they lost to Onalaska 3-1 as Pacelli?s Carolyn Storch scored the lone goal. In the second game they lost 1-0 to University School of Milwaukee. In the third game they beat Brookfield 6-1. Carolyn scored one goal and had one assist in the game. Currently the Pacelli Co-op Team has a 7-6 record and their next game is on Monday 1/9 when they host Fox Cities at Ice Hawk Arena. Face-off is set for 7:00 pm. Boys Bask et ballThe Pacelli Boys Basketball Team participated in the Sentry Classic over Christmas Break on 12/28 and 12/30. In the first game the Cardinals beat the Mounders of Elk Mound High School 47-37. Leading the Cardinals in scoring was AJFirminhac with 15 points. Garrett Parks had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Andrew Blanker had 7 rebounds. In the second game the Cardinals lost to Almond/Bancroft 66-42. The Cardinals were led again by AJFirminhac who had 13 points. Garrett Parks had 10 points and 6 rebounds. On Tuesday 1/3 the Cardinals traveled to Omro and they beat the Foxes 58-32. The Cards were led by Cam Cloud who had 18 points. AJFirminhac chipped in with 12 points and Garrett Parks had 10 points and 6 rebounds. On Thursday 1/5 the Cardinals traveled to Wausau to take on the Newman Fighting Cardinals in an old CWCC rivalry. The Pacelli Cards beat Newman 65-51. Pacelli was led by Andrew Blanker with 19 points and 12 rebounds. AJFirminhac had 16 points, Nate Helms chipped in with 12 points. Garrett Parks had 13 rebounds. The Cardinals are currently 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference. Their next game is on Tuesday 1/10 when they get back into their conference schedule as they travel to Iola to take on the Thunderbirds. Tip-off is set for 7:30 Gir ls Bask et ballThe girls basketball team also played in the Sentry Classic over Christmas Break. In their first game they lost to St. Mary?s Catholic 66-37. The Cardinals were led by Jenelle Higgins with 8 points and Freshmen Sarah Mueller chipped in with 7 points. In their second game the Cardinals took on the Eagles of Almond/Bancroft and the Cards won 58-31. The Cardinals were led by Sarah Mueller who had 13 points. Also leading the Cardinals were Amanda Klasinski who had 9 points, Claire Rogers with 8 points and Katherine Mueller with 7 points. On Thursday 1/5 the Cardinals hosted the Blackhawks of Port Edwards High School and they won 66-44. The Cardinals were led by Sarah Mueller who had 22 points and 8 rebounds. Julia Grygleski and Kaitlin Rogers both had 7 points. The JV?s beat the Blackhawks 33-15. The Cardinals were led by Liz Krupka who had 11 points. Monika Bitinaityte had several key rebounds late in the game. The Cardinal defense stepped it up in the second half, holding the Blackhawks to only 2 points in the half. The Cardinals are currently 3-7 overall and 1-4 in the conference. Their next game will be on Tuesday as the Cardinals get back into their conference schedule as they will host the Thunderbirds of Iola in a 7:00 pm game.
