10 TIPS TO REJUVENATE AT LLOYD’S INN SINGAPORE
“A hotel stay should be more than just a place of rest, but an experience that you seek to discover” – Lloyd’s Inn At Lloyd’s Inn, our travel mantra is that a holiday isn’t just about sightseeing and rushing to check off lists of must-sees. As such, we seek to offer travellers more than just a bed for the night – but an experiential one; an oasis of tranquillity, an abode for travellers to rejuvenate, a breath of fresh air for the senses, and a touch of nature in the city. We do not offer luxurious lap pools and hotel facilities like big-chain resorts, but here are 10 tips on how you can spend some quiet me-time rejuvenating, or a cosy weekend with friends away from the hustle bustle of the city – all in the humble grounds of Lloyd’s Inn. TIP #1: Skygazing Watch the clouds go by in the comfort of your room or in our outdoor cubby chairs. Especially so during sunrise or sunset, The Sky Rooms, Garden Rooms, outdoor cubby chairs and pool deck chairs offer an ideal sit-down atmosphere for skygazing and light conversation with friends. TIP #2: Stargazing Turn up some light music while you soak in the tub and bubble-bath under the night sky in Lloyd’s signature sky-tubs. Laze in your private outdoor garden or in the dipping pool (built-in pool seats) for some stargazing - or if you’re lucky, moon-gazing. TIP #3: Just Chillin’ Lloyd’s Inn’s atmosphere is perfect for some weekend chillin’. Escape the city life into an abode of tranquility at Lloyd’s Inn. Immerse into the sounds of nature just chillin’ in your room, the common roof terrace, or dipping pool. TIP #4: Lazing in Bed With plushy duvets and a bed so comfy, you’ll never want to get out of bed at Lloyd’s Inn. Grab some of our Munchy snacks (sold at the Lobby), indulge in a cuppa coffee or Milo (at the common pantry – free of charge), read a book, watch TV, surf the net, all in the comfort of your bed.
TIP #5: Soak in the Skytub and/or Rainshower
An outdoor rainshower in every room allows for you to soak up the outdoors and tranquility of nature within the comfort of your room. Soak in the tub and bubble-bath under the big blue sky in The Sky Room and The Big Sky Rooms. For the traveller who loves to multi-task, The Business Room allows you to leave the TV on and catch your favourite movies – while you’re in the bath. TIP #6: Take a dip in the dipping pool Takeaway some fruit juice from the shops nearby and change into your bathing suit for a relaxing dip in Lloyd’s dipping pool, where you can chat with your friends or relax in the builtin pool seat. TIP #7: Self Indulgence Bring your own manicure kit (or if not, you can buy them at Watson’s just down the road from the hotel) and don Lloyd’s Yukatas and Slippers (provided in all rooms) for some indulgent me-time.
