Parroquia de San Lorenzo, Tampa, Florida INFORME FINANCIERO PARROQUIAL Para el Año Fiscal 1 de julio de 2015 - 30 de junio de 2016

INGRESOS

Colecciones de ofertorios: Año fiscal 2015-2016 ascendió a $ 1,568,094 ligeramente superior al año anterior. Gracias por Su generosidad.

Rentas: Los alquileres y honorarios pagados por grupos que utilizan nuestras instalaciones (Higgins Hall, Celtic Hall y Gimnasio, etc.) ascendieron a $191,467.

Donaciones: Estos totalizaron $ 108,766 e incluyeron regalos conmemorativos, donaciones para fondos de construcción y fondos estatales designados.

Ingresos diversos: Esta cifra fue $ 212,363 e incluye un ajuste contable del año anterior de $46,872, Celtic Catch Reserved Tuition Funds de $36,450, un ahorro diocesano de una sola vez y distribución de excedente de préstamo de $109,591 junto con las ofertas votivas de la vela, ventas religiosas de la tienda del artículo.

El total pagado a nuestros empleados a tiempo completo y parcial (incluyendo sacerdotes, supervisor de pastoral, supervisor de asuntos temporales, asistentes administrativos, ministros de formación religiosa, músico, ministro de la juventud, cocinero de rectoría y personal de mantenimiento) ascendió a $ 715,350. Los impuestos sobre la nómina y los beneficios (impuestos sobre la nómina, salud, pensiones, desempleo y primas de seguro de compensación de trabajadores) ascendieron a $ 264,275. Contribuciones a la caridad ya la Iglesia diocesana y universal. Como parroquia, contribuimos $ 4,600 a diversas causas benéficas y nuestra $ 315,031 de evaluación anual para apoyar las obras administrativas y apostólicas de la Diócesis. Apoyo parroquial de la Escuela Católica St. Lawrence. La contribución directa de la parroquia al presupuesto operativo de la escuela ascendió a $ 105,639. A través de este apoyo de la parroquia,

La matrícula escolar católica al alcance de más familias y asegurar la excelencia de nuestra escuela. Rectoría de alimentos, suministros y gastos del hogar. Estos artículos totalizaron $26,389. Relaciones públicas, hospitalidad, entretenimiento, publicidad. Cenas y comidas parroquiales, picnics, recepciones; publicidad; Etc. totalizaron $19,033 Gastos de capital y renovaciones. Gastos de capital de $6.861 y actualizaciones tecnológicas y renovaciones de la escuela de los fondos diocesanos $93,558.

Seguro de propiedad. Las primas de seguros de propiedad y accidentes de nuestros edificios, los terrenos cuestan $59.819. TOTAL DE GASTOS $2,199,730 TOTAL NETO $102,496 ***** NOTAS ** La parroquia y la escuela de San Lorenzo están libres de deudas. Hoy Celebramos en Accion de Gracias por La Comunidad de Puerto Rico a Nuestra Señora de la Divina Providencia En la mitad del siglo XIX fue nombrado Obispo de Puerto Rico, Monseñor Gil Esteve y Tomás, este hombre era español, de Cataluña y llevo consigo a la isla la devoción a Nuestra Señora de la Divina Providencia, esta advocación tiene su origen en Italia, surgió en el siglo XIII y tiempo después paso a España, donde se creo un santuario en Tarragona, Cataluña. El Obispo Gil Esteve puso gran empeño en fomentar la devoción a la Virgen, reconstruyo la iglesia Catedral, que estaba destruida, y en poco tiempo logro conseguir con ayuda de los fieles recursos para adquirir en Barcelona la Sagrada imagen de la Virgen, le levantó un altar y estableció su culto el día 2 de enero, que quedó designado como su fiesta anual. La imagen fue realizada en Barcelona, en ella la Virgen esta sentada y tiene al Niño dormido angelicalmente sobre su falda, las manos de María se unen en posición de oración, mientras sostiene la manito izquierda de Jesús, estuvo expuesta al culto en la catedral, hasta 1920 cuando fue sustituida por otra talla, que es la imagen de Nuestra Señora de la Divina Providencia más conocida por el pueblo puertorriqueño. La imagen original venerada por los Siervos de María y otras órdenes religiosas italianas, es un óleo en el que aparece la Virgen con el Niño Jesús dormido plácidamente en sus brazos. La isla de Puerto Rico (llamada por los indígenas "Borinquén"), fue descubierta el 19 de Noviembre de 1493, cuando Colón desembarco en ella durante su segundo viaje. Por tal motivo dicha fecha fue elegida para su solemnidad en 1969, cuando S. S. Pablo VI declaró a Nuestra Señora Madre de la Divina Providencia, como patrona principal de la isla de Puerto Rico, en el decreto del Papa se indicaba que la fecha de la Virgen debía trasladarse del dos de enero (aniversario de la llegada de la imagen a la isla), al 19 de noviembre, uniendo de esa forma la veneración a la Santísima patrona, con el descubrimiento de la isla.
