11th GRADE EDP/CAREER CRUISING INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUGUST 2016 **PLEASE UPDATE YOUR EDP STARTING AUGUST 1, 2016** CAREER CRUISING LOG-IN  Username: WL-________________________ You MUST type WL and the (-), then your student ID# without any initials.  Password: ________________________ (your computer password or the password you created unless you are a new student)  If you are a new student: You will need to enter your full birthdate with a 4 digit year…[MMDDYYYY]. Follow prompts to create a new password, please use your birth year and initials (example: 1998jk) MY ACCOUNT – upper right corner of screen  Verify your profile information is up to date.  Click on EDIT PROFILE, then the PENCIL icon to start editing  Click SAVE at the bottom of the screen SHARE MY EDP – Invite parent/guardian to view your EDP  Click on MY EDP (under your name).  Click on SHARE MY EDP  Click on INVITE PARENT/GUARDIAN and follow prompts MY PROGRESS Below are the required 11th grade EDP/Career Cruising updates for the 2016-17 school year. You must complete all areas as a part of your online registration. Remember to SAVE any changes to your EDP and click the REFLECT & CONFIRM box for each section to reach 100% completion. For detailed instructions, see below.  Career Selector  My Saved Schools – Minimum 1  Course Plan – 12th Grade – Minimum 6 Credits  My Saved Pathways  Post-Secondary Plan (must complete & save all 3 sections: Career Goals, Education Goals & Financial Plans)  Career and Life Goals ***************************************************************************************************************************** *************************** MY SAVED SCHOOLS: Click on MY PROGRESS  Click on MY SAVED SCHOOLS  Search for a schools by Keyword Search, using the map or by major  Review the information pages for that school  Must SAVE TO MY EDP a minimum of ONE school  Click on MY EDP to go back to MY PROGRESS & reselect MY SAVED SCHOOLS  Click the REFLECT & CONFIRM box to complete this section COURSE PLAN: 12th Grade: Click on MY PROGRESS  Click on COURSE PLAN: 12th Grade – minimum of 6 credits  This is not your schedule for next school year. Just a projection of interested courses for 12 th grade  Choose your desired course and click ADD COURSE at bottom of the screen  To select electives choose COURSE OPTION.  From the Course Information screen choose DISCIPLINE and then select department course offerings  Choose course, then click ADD COURSE after each selection at the bottom of the screen  Once courses are added this section auto saves your information. You DO NOT need to SUBMIT your course selections. MY SAVED PATHWAYS: Click on MY PROGRESS  Choose MY SAVED PATHWAYS  Update or choose your 1st and 2nd choice from the drop down menus and SAVE  Click on the REFLECT & CONFIRM box at the top of the screen to complete this section POST SECONDARY PLAN: Click on MY PROGRESS  Choose POST SECONDARY PLAN – update 3 sections: Career Goals, Educational Goals and Financial Plans  CAREER GOALS: Complete necessary areas and SAVE  EDUCATIONAL GOALS: Choose the highest level of education you wish to achieve, choose a college that interests you and SAVE  FINANCIAL PLANS: Pick all that apply to you and SAVE  Click on the REFLECT & CONFIRM box at the top of the screen CAREER & LIFE GOALS: Click on MY PROGRESS  Edit or complete your SHORT and LONG TERM GOALS by clicking on the pencil icon  SAVE after each goal  Click the REFLECT & CONFIRM BOX at the top of the screen
