(1) The executive director of the department of public safety may deny, suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew any license issued or applied for under the provisions of this article for any of the following reasons: (a) Violations of any of the provisions of this article; (b) A conviction of any felony, but subject to the provisions of section 24-5-101, C.R.S.; (c) A conviction pursuant to section 12-28-110; (d) Any material misstatement, misrepresentation, or fraud in obtaining a license. (2) Such revocation or suspension proceedings shall be brought by the Colorado executive director of the department of public safety pursuant to the provisions of the "State Administrative Procedure Act", article 4 of title 24, C.R.S.
