INDIAN INFO Attendance is Crucial Attendance is crucial during the next several months. We have the MAP Assessment as well as the 3rd Grade MKAS Assessment during the months of April and May. Students should be present each day and focused on their school work. Parents, please do all that you can at home to help us ensure that your child is ready for these assessments. MKAS testing will be April 4th thru April 8th. MAP testing will begin on April 25th and conclude on May 17th.
The 3rd grade MKAS test schedule is as follows: April 4th ~ Ms. Jones & Mrs. McAlexander April 5th ~ Ms. Rosenthal & Mrs. Hamilton April 6th ~ Ms. Mason & Mrs. Beene April 7th ~ Mr. Todd
The 5th grade teachers are asking that all parents sign up for Class Dojo and Remind 101. These apps help to keep parents abreast of pertinent information regarding your child’s behavior and academic performance while at school. These are excellent ways to keep the lines of communication open between teachers and parents.

Bus Behavior Parents, please discuss with your child the importance of proper bus behavior. We are receiving an abundance of office referrals for bus misconduct. Student safety is always at the forefront of everything that we do. Students need to be reminded that bus misconduct can lead to the distraction of the bus driver, which places everyone in harms way. Please stress to your child that they are to remain seated and as quiet as possible while riding the school bus.

[email protected] with your contact information so that we can get the ball rolling on having an active PTO for our school.
Check In & Check Out
Students MUST report to school before 7:30 in order to not be considered tardy. Checkouts stop each day at 2:15. NO checkouts will be allowed after that time. You will have to pick your child up at car riders after 2:15. Please ensure you have your driver’s license or picture ID when you come to sign out your child. If you send someone, tell that person to have his or her picture ID or driver’s license as well. We want to ensure students are released to the correct person
