A Weather System is the total of all the conditions of temperature,  pressure, wind speed and humidity for a relatively large area.

An Air Mass is a large body of air that stays together for several days.   It has uniform temperature and moisture and may cover several hundred to  several thousand kilometers.

The movement of these air masses effects local weather conditions.

Front: 

The leading edge of an approaching air mass.

Cold Front: 

Leading edge of a cold air mass.

Warm Front: Leading edge of  a warm air mass

Stationary Front:  Warm and Cold Fronts meet and stall briefly.

Occluded Front:  When a cold front catches the warm front in a process  called cyclogenesis A TROWAL is not a front.  When an occluded front gets pushed up  into the air.  Also sometimes called a trough.
