Gerald Vier gever

Remembrance is a strange thing .

Some of the thin gs that happen to us fade from our

memor y immediately , never to be recalled .

Others last longer • . We tend to remember the

happy experi3nces of our life and quickly forget the less happy ones . we know that we shal l always remember Gerald .

To know him was a pleasure , for he was

bright, quick , even-tempered, a good athlete a nd a fine friend .

2

For this reas on

He cannot be forgotten .
