Chillin' on a break About Dead
The New Age of Physical Education Students at Montgomery County High were appalled as they sat in the gym for the first time in three months. With his loud and echoing voice, the new coach laid down the law for physical education for the next nine months. Montgomery County made a change in the physical education department regulations. Instead of rolling out the basketball for the school term, there was a steady regimen of exercise and strenuous sports activities, such as leg stretches, sit-ups, aerobics, tag football, tiring racing games, and basketball. To the students of Montgomery County, it appears that the fun and exciting age of P.E. has disappeared. In days of old, students sat and talked about the "news" and got to know each other mentally. However, the "Bell" changed things. Oh, how our muscles ached! No more laughing and joking; everything is too serious.
How far, Mr. Bell?

On The Wild Side
Hey, everybody! Turn on your tube ! It's time for another edition of ETV (Eagle Television!) Watch as your favorite people Take A
Walke On The Wild Side! Ask any student at Montgomery Co. High what they like to do be t. Most of us would answer, "Party!!!" These are our Wild years. We must take very chance we can get to be together making memories. We must grasp the good times while we can before someone say , "Grow Up!" Soon we'll leave this, our dear high school home, taking only the memories. We'll meet new people of importance in our lives. Some of us will change, as we always do when growing up. Even so, these are the times to remember, when we were the Wild Ones and we
Walked On the Wild Side.

The Sound of Music
The MCHS Marching Band led the way for the 1989-90 Homecoming parade. The majorettes twirled, the horn-blower blew, and the drum-beater pounded their way by the crowds. There was a touch of pride and dignity in their mu ic. The echo will sound forever in Eagle Country .

nee upon a time, in a small school called Montgomery County High, six Senior Representatives patiently awaited the announcement of who would be queen, Until then, they, as well as the Underclassmen Representatives and all of their faithful subjects, celebrated the traditional competition of Homecoming Week. It was a week of class competition, class colors, camouflage, gum-chewing, and even more than the usual horsing around. Friday ended the competition with a parade and a pep rally at the courthouse.
agic was spun by our own school wizard, the great "Eagle". This week brings school spirit like a wave rushing to a sandy shore, or a brave knight to h1s fair lady. Even after the coronation of our queens. and the finJle of the homecoming game, that spirit remains. We'l'e all felt it; the desire to yell your school's name at the game. the pride in a graduating class. If you haven't felt it, then I feel sorry for you. brother, because you obviously aren't a true student of the great "Eagle."

n the Senior float, Bury the Bulldogs, the Seniors gave the Bulldogs a proper burial. They walked away with second place in the of their mourning. Wipe those tears away, seniors!
he Junior float was Bulldogs Are Casualties of War. Juniors put up a good fight in the battle to win in the float competition. Unfortunately, their badge of honor displayed the title of fourth place.
90 Homecoming
Unt()u~ha bl an the Bulldogs was the name of the Sopho• more float. They displayed the height of Eagle cuisine such as: Falcon Meat and Bulldog Bits. In the proces of all their fun, they bagged (or canned, to be more exact) first place Con· gratulations, Sophomores!
D
he Freshman float, Eagles Volcan ic Tower of Power gave us a new view of the Eagle. They placed it on their float as though it were a phoenix rising from a flaming volcano. Third place was caught in its menacing clutches.

Homecoming Week
he theme for this year wa "Eagles Are ntouchable" and it proved an appropriate statement, becau e the Eagle howed the Bulldogs just how untouchable they were during the Homecoming game with a score of 32 to 6. Homecoming week wa also known as " tudent Competition Week". The competitions decided which clas , the green Freshmen , the red ophomores, the Juniors in white, or the blue Seniors, was the best. The fir t day saw the tudents packed into the gym to undergo the challenging clas competitions. They competed in the potato hop, blowing a ball with a straw down the court, and others. The winner of that day wa the Mighty Class of '90 with 40 points. The underclas men tried their be t with the Juniors coming into second, the Sophomores into third, and the Freshmen coming m last Tue day called for an unlikely event: Jer ey Day On thi occasion, the tudent and faculty wore football Jer ey or any club Jer ey. Wednesday wa Hat Day and Wall Day. There was a variety of comical and outrageous hats adorned by the faculty and student body. Yet again, the Seniors proved victorious with first place, followed by the Juniors, the Sophomores, and lastly, the Freshmen. The wall competitions counted a major part of the competitions. Each wall display had to coincide with the theme "Eagles Are Untouchable". Each cia worked hard to create brilliant walls that showed individual cia s ta te . The Juniors won first place, followed by the Sophomores, the Freshmen, and lastly the Seniors. The competitions were getting serious! Thursday was camounage Day and the students formed a congregation of muted green and brown . Among tiff competition, the Sophomores won first place, followed by the Seniors, the Freshmen , and lastly the Juniors . Friday was a combination of many events such as Spint Day, Parade Day, Judging of the Floats, and the judging of Homecoming Queens. On Spirit Day all faculty and students wore red, white, and blue to express their spirit. Overall the Sophomores won in the Homecoming activities. The week proved to be victorious for the Eagles.

It was hard enough to learn to love Especially since we knew so little. But still you were a wonderful friend; Another mystery in life's riddle. Always there for others, Never asking for yourself. And I think that's why we loved you, For all your hopes and helps. You are never to be forgotten, You won't ever be gone. You will live forever in our hearts, For there you'll have a home. We hope when you look down on us, You won't be disappointed. And your memory will surround all of us, Your approval is so wanted. Your jersey we will now retire, And remember always number 61. Your name, our hearts, will now inspire. For now Bryant "Bobo" Kelly is our God's son.

TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND NUTRITIO MAINTENANCE, AND SERVICE PERSONNEL
To the Service Personnel. You're behind the scenes, doing your action. Not many realize just how important you are. Without you, we would be disorganized and chaotic. You are our food, transportation and cleaners, that we take for granted, but should be thankful. You take a low profile but get thing done; we appreciate you who take care of u . Just remember, you are the heart of our school, and we truly take pride in your position.
