2-(2H1)-2E, 4E-hexadienal This compound was a product of the reduced pressure gas phase pyrolysis of 5hexene-1-yn-3-ol-O-D at 375⁰C 1. The pmr spectrum (60MHz) , CDCl3, showed a methyl doublet at δ1.93, (3H), (CH2-D), multiplets in the region of 5.8-6.6 (3H), and aldehydic deuterium triplet at 9.53 (1H).
