•Volunteers are needed to form a task force to develop FBC’s music program. Those who are interested, please speak with Pastor Bill or Pastor Saul Lu. •If you like to attend the ABC Women’s Annual Conference in Waverly, Iowa on June 2829, 2013, please contact Hilda Young. •Lee Clevenger has moved to a lovely residential assisted living home. It was originally a private home in a quiet neighborhood. Her address is 7882 Jorgensen Avenue, Cottage Grove, MN 55106. •It’s not too late to donate to FBC for the replacement of the carpet and pew cushions in the sanctuary. We have collected $8,816 of $10,000 for the pew cushions and $8,700 of $10,000 for the carpet.

In 2011 we began the 3-year “Sharing Brings Joy” theme for the One Great Hour of Sharing offering. During 2011 we explored how sharing blesses, transforms, and brings joy to the giver. In 2012, we explored sharing blesses, transforms, and brings joy to others. And finally this year we will conclude this 3-year theme by exploring how sharing brings joy to God. In some circle One Great Hour of Sharing is referred to as an “ecumenical offering” because it is received in a number of denominations. Today the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Church of the Brethren the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reformed Church in America, and the United Church of Christ all join us as American Baptists in receiving this offering. FBC is collecting One Great Hour of Sharing Sundays in June.
