Founded in 1985, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Toronto has matured into a dynamic organization offering monthly meetings, workshops, special events, field trips, an informative newsletter, a Web site, and a lively forum where research techniques and ideas are exchanged. A non-profit charitable organization affiliated with the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, the Society invites you to share your knowledge, as you in turn learn from hundreds of others who are willing to share their knowledge with you. Most of our members live in the Toronto area, some in other cities in Canada, the United States and Israel. The common thread is a fascination with Jewish history and a desire to share information and experiences.
