a better place for people to live. Firstly, if the water in Hong Kong is dirty, the fish and plants will die. People have no clean water to drink, no fresh seafood, no vegetables and fruits to eat. There will be no trees in Hong Kong and no places for the animals to live. Secondly, if the air in Hong Kong is dirty, it is bad for our health. The people and the plants will die. Therefore, I will encourage Hong Kong people to use more public transport. I will educate the citizens to protect our living environment and never dump toxic wastes into the sea. Leung Kin Chun (4F)

Susan looked at her purse. ‘Oh no!’ said Susan. ‘I don’t have enough money.’ Susan felt upset. ‘It’s OK,’ said Maria and Betty. ‘We can lend you some money.’ Susan bought the doll at last. She said ‘Thank you’ to her friends. In the end, they were happy. Diu Wing Yan (4F)
First we put the eggs, flour and sugar into a big bowl and we mixed them well. Then we poured the mixture into the cake tray and put it into the oven. I felt making a cake was interesting and fun. I baked the cake for two and a half hours. However I forgot to take the cake out of the oven. The cake was over-cooked. It was hard and black so I felt very sad. Mum wasn’t happy either. Next, I had an idea. I made a birthday cap for grandma with mum. Finally, we went to a restaurant to eat dim sum to celebrate grandma’s birthday. She was happy and she smiled. Mum and I were happy, too. We had a great time together. Andy Tsang (5A)

An Unforgettable Outing Last weekend, my father suggested going on an outing. It was sunny so we agreed to his plan. After a while, we arrived at the country park. The air was fresh and the trees were green. The view was very wonderful. Then, we started having a barbecue. The food was yummy. We shared our joy, too. “What are we going to do after lunch?” asked my sister. “Let’s fly a kite and play badminton,” suggested Dad. “Great!” we shouted happily. When we were eating food, it rained heavily. “Oh dear!” I shouted. We went to the visitor centre. At last, the rain stopped and the sun came out. We continued our activities. I had a lesson. I should watch the weather report before I go on an outing. Kiki Tam (6A)
A Robber With A Scar 'The police are looking for a robber bearing a scar......' I heard the news from the radio on the minibus when I was talking with my friend, Emma. A man who had a scar, sat on my left. I thought he was the robber. I was very scared. Then, I got off the minibus with Emma and went into a shopping plaza as quick as a flash. The man got off the minibus and went into the shopping plaza, too. I whispered to Emma, ' The man may be the robber.' Emma did not listen to me, she went to the toilet. Later, I saw two policemen. They were patrolling in the shopping plaza. I told them that I saw the robber who was in the shopping plaza and I was very frightened. The policemen saw the man and shouted, 'Stop!' The robber ran as fast as a rocket after hearing that. The policemen caught the robber with the help of other people. Then, the policemen took him to the police station. At last they confirmed that the man was the robber. Later, I was given a prize for being a good citizen. My mum was proud of me. Lin Hiu Lo (6F)

If I were the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, I would…
There are so many problems in Hong Kong. If I were the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, I would make good decisions for Hong Kong people. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong needs to be smart so that he can solve problems. He also needs to be patient and calm so that he will not get angry easily. He needs to be hard-working too so that he can work for a long time. If I were the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, I would solve these problems. First, I would like to solve the housing problems. There are not enough public housing estates. Therefore I would build more housing for the poor. Then, I would like to solve the transportation problems. There are too many private cars on the roads. Therefore, I would change the bus routes and encourage drivers to use public transport. In conclusion, if I could solve these two problems, I think I would be a good Chief Executive of Hong Kong. I hope Hong Kong will become a better place and the lives of people will be improved.
Every country needs a Chief Executive to govern it. If I were the

Chief Executive of Hong Kong, I would make good choices for Hong Kong people. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong needs to be smart so that he can solve lots of problems. Also he needs to be understanding and caring so that he can listen to people’s problems. He needs to be patient and calm too so that he will not get angry easily. If I were the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, I would solve the housing problems. There are not enough public housing estates. Therefore, I would build a lot of housing estates and buildings. Also, the rent is too expensive! I would lower the rent for public housing. The flats are too small so I would build larger flats. I would grow a lot of trees and flowers too. Then, I would like to solve the transportation problems. There is too much noise so people can’t sleep well. I would supervise the noise level to reduce the noise. Moreover, I would encourage people to ride their own bikes and use fewer private cars. To summarize, if I could solve all these problems, I would be a good Chief Executive of Hong Kong. I hope Hong Kong will become the best city. Leung Nga In, Sally (6C)
