牧者的话 “渡河” 後的感恩及省思 陈明道 传道 2014 年是國語宣道會自 1995 年創堂以來的一個重要里程碑, 因為籌備數年的建堂 事工終告完成, 並順利於 4 月間正式遷入東區新堂, 展開教會事工的另一個新階段。 全年事工以遷堂作分界線, 可以分為 3 個時段: 1. 遷堂前的預備 (1~3 月): 我們珍惜自開堂以來在聖公會近 19 年的聚會時間, 故特別在遷堂前 (3 月底) 與聖 公會的會眾舉行聯合崇拜及聚餐, 彼此祝福。因租客紛紛離開, 建築物維護費用高 漲, 聖公會亦於 7 月初遷至 Vanier 區與另一家聖公會聯合聚會, 整棟建物待價求售。 我們一方面感謝神在過去多年對國宣的信實供應, 也求主繼續帶領聖公會前面的道 路。在這段時間我們亦在 2 月間歡送林有基傳道, 感謝他及林師母在教會 4 年來的 服事。因與東門宣道會的合作關係, 我們未能繼續聘請林傳道帶領教會的英文及兒 童事工, 但我們衷心感謝他及師母為教會的英語及兒童事工奠定良好的根基, 並請 弟兄姐妹繼續為他們一家未來服事的道路代禱。 2. 遷堂後的適應 (4~8 月): 感謝主, 我們順利在 4 月 11 日拿到市政府核發的使用執照, 並於 4 月 13 日正式在 新堂開始崇拜! 在此感謝搬遷過程中許多弟兄姐妹所付出的時間與心力, 特別是總 務部劉三南執事的帶領。在建堂期間我們擔心實際支出會超過預算, 但感謝建堂小 組的忠心, 東門宣道會 Bill 牧師及 2 個教會許多弟兄姐妹的擺上, 我們不僅沒有超支, 而且尚有結餘, 並已在年終將會眾貸款還回 50%。在此感謝吳允泰長老在建堂財政 上的把關, 崔魯寧長老及宋立瑤執事在教會財政上的搭配, 以及吳炎東弟兄在新堂 維修上所擺上的時間與心力。

2014 年刊目录 我們原本擔心部分會友會因遷堂而流失–感謝神的信實引領, 絕大多數的弟兄姐妹 對教會委身, 忠心跟隨教會到東區新堂。大家擔心學生事工會因新堂離校園較遠而 受虧損, 但感謝林克勝導師, 孫菀鴻團長及同工們的搭配, 我們順利在校園附近找到 另一家教會作為周五學生聚會的場地, 而周日學生到教會的交通問題也因有車的學 生同工們的接送而大致解決。我們也特別在年底, 與本地其他國語教會聯合舉辦大 學生國語冬令會, 本教會有 6 位學生參加–看見神仍然恩待教會的學生事工, 我們 獻上感恩, 並求神繼續擴展我們的視野, 藉由學生團契, 讓教會的單身就業事工, 英 語大學生事工及國語高中生事工亦可以逐步發展。 遷堂後我們的聚會場地 (新的中文堂及課室, 廚房, 自己的洗禮池), 時間 (由原先的 11 點半改為 10 點半) 及相關配套 (同步進行的英文堂及與東門宣道會一起搭配的 兒童主日學) 都改善許多; 崇拜後 2 個教會的弟兄姐妹在大廳一起享用茶點, 彼此交 通, 充分顯示出國際社區宣道會多元文化事工的特色。在此特別感謝 Bill 牧師, Debbie 姐妹 (聯合兒童事工主任), 兒童事工團隊 (劉克勇長老及沈儲澄執事帶領) 及廚房團隊 (胡金蘭姐妹帶領) 在每周日聖工上的辛勞。美中不足的是, 過去每主日 崇拜後的聚餐因時間與場地的改變, 現在改為每季一次, 對於教會肢體間的交通有 一定程度的影響。另外, 原先顧慮成人及青少年主日學時段因時間提早 (由原先的 10 點提前到 9 點 15 分) 會影響出席率, 經比較後發現主日學的出席率 (主日學人數 佔崇拜人數的%) 由遷堂前的 47% 下降到遷堂後的 37%, 平均出席人數亦由 61 人 下降至 51 人。 盼望教會繼續以用心設計的主日學課程來吸引弟兄姐妹, 並期望未 來當教會成長到一定規模時, 能加開崇拜後的主日學來幫助不能在崇拜前來上課的 弟兄姐妹。在此感謝朱冬執事在中文主日學事工上的統籌, 以及周鵬長老與李美芳 姐妹長期任教英文成人及青少年主日學的辛勞。 在教會任職 5 年的青年牧師 Chris 決定回 Peterborough 幫助他的父親發展當地教 會的青年事工, 並在 8 月間離職。我們十分不捨, 但祝福他們一家前面的生活及服 事, 並感謝 Chris 傳道對 2 個教會青年事工的貢獻。在這段時間 2 個教會共同成立 聘牧委員會, 但尚無實質進展–在此感謝吳允泰長老及 Andy 弟兄參與聘牧委員會,

2014 年刊目录 以及 Kevin 執事多年來對英文事工的擺上。感謝主, 在東門宣道會成長的 Joshua 弟兄將完成在多倫多天道神學院的課程, 並願意在 2015 年 1-4 月間回教會實習– 我們盼望他能與青年事工團隊及青少年間有好的互動, 若主許可, 在實習結束後正 式成為教會的聯合青年牧師。 3. 在新堂的發展 (9~12 月): 由於新堂的周邊工程較遲完工, 我們選擇在 9 月間正式舉辦落成儀式, 邀請外地回 來的會友在周六晚上來教會參加感恩餐會, 並在主日進行感恩禮拜, 邀請 Harper 總 理, 宣道會加東區區監督 John Healey 博士, 本地各教會的同工及國際社區宣道會 3 個教會的弟兄姐妹共證主恩。教會新堂落成的見證亦刊登在 9 月份的號角月報上, 在此感謝吳允泰長老及黃鴻芬姐妹的撰稿, 並洪旗弟兄及 Matt 弟兄在建堂工程影 片上的製作。 主日崇拜是教會事工中最受重視的部分。搬至新堂後我們嘗試在崇拜流程及程序單 上作出改變, 目的是在帶領弟兄姐妹更深投入敬拜。9-12 月的崇拜平均總人數為 151 人, 比起遷堂前 (1-3 月) 的 132 人及遷堂後初期 (4-8 月) 的 126 人有顯著的成 長, 在此感謝崇拜部的同工們, 包括朱達雅執事, 張瑜弟兄, 劉三南執事, 王涵珺姐妹, 卲力聞弟兄, 熊達暉秘書等。 神讓約書亞帶領以色列民渡約旦河後, 要在迦南地得地為業。神讓國宣在東區建堂 的一個異象就是向東區的華人同胞傳福音。本地的恩光中心一直對社區外展有很大 的負擔, 由於欣華中文學校就在教會附近, 我們便在 10 月起與恩光中心搭配, 每周 六上午在教會開始英語班, 讚美操及桌球練習的外展課程, 雖然參與的新朋友尚不 多, 但卻是教會在社區外展跨出的第一步, 在此感謝恩光的余重慶夫婦, 教會的周登 科長老與路明亮執事的統籌, 以及胡干城長老, 李立姐妹, 蔚順華弟兄, 胡金蘭姐妹, 譚豔芳姐妹, 王強弟兄, 周鵬長老, 賴明怡師母等弟兄姐妹的參與協助。 我們亦有機會與東門宣道會共同合作. 開始多元文化及跨文化的事工: 在 9-12 月間 我們一起在周一晚上舉辦 “啟發課程”, 以國語, 英語及阿拉伯語向新朋友傳福音, 在

2014 年刊目录 此感謝東門宣道會 George & Nahia 夫婦的籌備, 以及教會蘭青道長老及池小芳姐 妹的參與。我們亦嘗試將每年的聖誕晚會改變成與東門宣道會一起舉辦的聖誕外展 活動, 在 12 月 13 日當日有上百位新朋友來教會參加外展活動, 其中有數十位華人 同胞參加聚會前的午餐, 在此感謝 Debbie 姐妹及劉克勇長老的統籌, 林克勝執事的 邀請卡設計, 陳瑩瑩姐妹的詩班帶領, 以及顧中輝執事與熊達暉秘書的午餐預備。 神一直放在我心中的一個感動, 是在渥太華及國宣建立門徒裝備站。感謝神讓加拿 大華神, 真道堂與國宣同感一靈, 在 11 月間請華神的周學信教授來主領“靈命塑造” 講座, 為 2015 年起在本地正式開始信徒裝備課程作預備, 在此謝謝基教部朱冬執事 的全力支持。若主許可, 我們會在 3 月間以“摩西五經”作為華神在本市開辦國語 裝備課程的首門課程, 並以 1 年 4 門課的目標繼續前進。 4. 展望 2015 年: 搬到東區的新堂是教會未來發展的一個轉捩點。今年教會即將邁向 20 周年, 弟兄 姐妹唯有同心合意, 方能共同面對解決事工發展的挑戰, 承接神給教會的異象與契 機, 包括: (1) 同文化乃至跨文化的第 2 代事工 (青少年及兒童事工); (2) 與東門宣道會及菲律賓教會的事工合作及資源共享; (3) 在東區 (Gloucester & Orleans) 的福音外展事工; (4) 落實探訪關顧事工, 讓東區的新朋友來到教會後願意以教會為家, 並讓教會肢體 間的關係更為緊密; (5) 藉由華神有系統的神學課程來裝備弟兄姐妹; (6) 海外宣教點的建立 (短宣隊可能地點包括: 與中東, 中美洲及歐洲當地的華人宣 道會一起搭配, 並與小草音樂事工團隊合組短宣隊)。 值得一提的是, 在 2014 年底的教會長執退修會上, 我們立志將禱告作為 2015 年教 會事工的一個重點, 而東門宣道會的 Nahia 姐妹亦適時提出從 2015 年初起, 國際社 區宣道會每晚有禱告會的異象。我們盼望教會真的成為萬民禱告的殿, 也希望弟兄

教会部门报告 长执会 Elder Board 刘克勇 长老 在 2014 年有很多兄弟姐妹都经历了挑战，欢笑，和泪水。第一次当长老的我，看 见了上帝在渥太华国语宣道会里奇妙的作为, 给了兄弟姐妹希望，力量和勇气。特 别是当我们遇到问题和困难的时候（如建堂事工，整合青少年事工和儿童事工, 和 东门宣道会的合作等）, 上帝特别加添了我们的信心, 信实的带领着我们的每一步。

作为长议会的副主席，我感谢上帝赐给一个合一的灵在我们的牧师和长老中间。我 感谢主，即使长老们有时候有不同的意见, 对于有关的问题有不同的看法，但从来 没有争执或冲突的时候。作为一个领导者其实是学习作为一个仆人。彼此顺服和学 习倾听是两个我在 2014 年里学到的重要功课。

As the coordinator responsible for the integration of OMAC children ministry with the East Gate Children Ministry, I want to especially thank Pastor Gabriel Lam and the Children Ministry Director Debbie Macphail. Pastor Gabriel has established solid foundation for OMAC parents and kids, and has well prepared for our parents and kids for the integration with East Gate Alliance Church. Director Debbie has worked tirelessly towards establishing strong leadership teams within the new OMEGA kids ministry, and has contributed greatly to the smooth transition and integration of OMAC kids under the new children ministry. There remains work to do before parents and kids from both churches really get to know each other. Nevertheless, ‘With man, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’ (Matthews 19:26).

2014 年刊目录 文书部 Secretary of Board 周登科 长老 教会文书部的职责是在牧师指导下出版教会每周的周刊,管理更新教会的各种文档 资料,印刷各类宣传品。肩负与会众借文字沟通的重任。特别是在过去一年,教会搬 迁到新址,经历了不少变化,繁忙与挑战。 感谢主, 在牧师事无巨细的指导与提醒以 及教会秘书,熊达辉弟兄的不懈努力下各项任务与事工进展顺利。以下从四个方面 详细报告。 一. 教会周刊版面调整 在崇拜部的堆动下, 教会的崇拜流程稍有调整, 相应的, 每周的周刊也做了些改变。 加进了教会的事工信息。 以便会众更好的了解和参于教会的事工。 这些改变虽然 在开始时遇到了一些技术困难, 但在弟兄们的帮助下一一克服。 二. 教会各类宣传品 福音部在教会搬到东边后, 开展了一系列的福音外展活动, 今年印刷了比往年更多 的福音单张, 还有教会的简介, 以及在各类媒体报刊上的广告。 在此要感谢弟兄姊 妹花时间,精力设计, 印刷和发放。 三. 教会文档更新 借着教会搬到新址的契机,下列文件做了更新和创建: OMAC by-Law (revised on Oct. 19th, 2014).doc OMAC Sabbatical Policy.doc (New file) Church Active Members List.doc (after the new by-law above) 新朋友名单更新比过去更及时。除过秘书熊达辉弟兄按常规更新教会的记录外, 新 朋友接待小组会尽量在当天更新网上名单, 以便关顾小组的及时跟进。 四. 长执会会议记录

2014 年刊目录 教会长执会基本上每季度召开一次。但也可根据具体情况增减。所有会议记录存放 在教会会议记录的帐号里,方便查阅。 最后,提一点改进的建议。 随着教会规模的增张, 教会文档管理应更规范化。除过 纸张版,要考虑建立安全,集中,便捷的电子版。此外,教会历史,个人见证,事工发展也 可以存放。 建议购置一台专门的电脑供此用。

财务部 Finance Department 崔鲁宁 长老 感谢主的带领, 在去年的执事选举中, 宋立瑶(Maggie)姐妹当选为财务执事。。 在过去一年中, 宋立瑶执事基于对 2013 教会财务内部审计的结果,建立了更专业的 财务季度及年度报告系统, 并且负责财务部门的常规运作。其他弟兄也继续参与财 务部的事工: 洪旗弟兄負責司數以及教会收入有关方面的事奉。 包括安排每周的 司数;与宋立瑶执事一起认真校对弟兄姐妹的每一笔奉献;及时打印,发放奉献收据。 黃偉斌（Tony）弟兄和梁軍（James）弟兄負責及时处理教会报销并发放支票，每 月为教会的牧师及秘书发放工资, 并帮助准备 T4 以及 T4 Summary。 梁軍弟兄还 及时核对教会银行帐户的收支记录, 随时上网核查记录, 下载转帐记录为教会的季 度及年度报表做准备工作。 邵力聞（Tom）弟兄继续提供技術維護-包括软件的调 整。有几位姊妹也在去年加入司数事奉: TINA SUN, SHELLEY ZHU, SHELLEY

HAN,

SCARLETT ZHU。其他司数包括邵力聞，孫曉玲，沈梁虹，洪旗，周明華，宋立瑶, 刘娜, 胡金蘭等等。教會建堂事工的方面继续由吴允泰(Robert)弟兄负担相关的财 务工作。 由于堂址的搬迁, 在教会的财务预算, 财务运作上都有新的挑战。 今年的年终报告 对教会将来的财务运作提供一些基本数据。 教会搬迁后, 司数的环境和工具得到了 很好的改善, 财务部也有足够的地方储藏历年的财务档案。

2014 年刊目录 感謝主的恩典。感動教会弟兄姊妹在过去一年中的奉献。感谢在财务部各個崗位上 熱心侍奉，默默付出的弟兄姐妹,使教會財政能夠順利運作。愿主继续赐恩典给每 一位弟兄姐妹。

崇拜部 Worship Department 朱达雅 执事 感谢神的带领与恩典，使我们能有机会一同建造神荣耀的教会，也呼招和拣选每一 位忠心在祂面前愿意委身付代价的同工。愿神的名在我们当中被高举并吸引万民来 归向祂自己。 有许多的同工们一同参与了每一周的主日崇拜服事。司事同工不只是必需提前 到达会场准备、分送家讯给大家、在第一线代表教会欢迎来到教会的每一位弟兄姊 妹和新朋友、收奉献及计算人数、更是在聚会中守望的代祷勇士。许多弟兄姊妹在 司事的忠心服事是神看为尊贵的祭司，领人来到神的殿中献上赞美感谢的祭。邵力 闻(Tom)弟兄负责安排每周的司事并与每位同工积极参与每次的服事，是每周主日 崇拜默默的耕耘者。 ＂关于服事圣徒的事，其实我不必给你们写什么，因为我知道你们的乐意之心。 为此，我向马其顿人夸耀你们，说：＂亚该亚人从去年就已经准备好了。＂你们的 热心激励了他们中的大多数人。......播撒祝福的人，也收获祝福 (林后９：１-６)" 。 因着教会有着这群拥有＂乐意之心＂的弟兄姊妹在司事的职份上委身，不只激励了 我们，相信更因着他们每周对弟兄姊妹的欢迎与祝福，必定从神领受加倍的祝福与 恩典。如果你也想加入司事的服事成为＂播撒祝福也收获祝福的人＂，请与邵力闻 弟兄联系。 迁入新堂不只是在硬件上的更新，2014 年在主日崇拜的时间及流程也作了变 动。感谢许多弟兄姊妹对新的崇拜流程的建议。为了让崇拜的流程更顺畅并减少人 员的交替，新的崇拜流程让敬拜主领直接带领宣召与诗歌敬拜和收奉献，由牧师 （牧师若至其他教会讲道时则安排主席）带领会众一同为教会事项祷告，牧师接续

2014 年刊目录 信息的分享（约 40 分钟），在回应诗歌敬拜后仍有简短的欢迎新朋友时间。主日 崇拜时间约为 90 至 100 分钟，与英文堂同步在 12:00 至 12:10 左右结束聚会并有 会后的简单茶点一同分享与交通。回顾以往在旧堂聚会要到下午 1 点才结束聚会， 现在我们的肚腹不会在聚会中感到饥饿。然而我们向神有一个祷告，让神在我们每 次聚会时心灵里对神的话语感到饥饿，渴慕在神面前得着饱足。耶稣对撒玛利亚妇 人说＂你若知道神的恩赐，和对你说请给我水喝的是谁，你必早求祂，祂也必早给 了你活水。（约 4:10)＂在每一次的主日崇拜中都是神与我们同坐席，是祂为我们 所预备的丰盛宴席。是耶稣在十字架上为我们的罪担当挽回祭，以祂的身体和宝血 为我们赎罪，使我们罪得赦免，，得着新的生命，可以和祂一同坐席。我们要为主 而活。 主日崇拜不仅是一场与主的宴席，也是一场属灵的争战。因为当我们高举耶稣 时，撒旦就会要破坏。＂因我们不是与血肉之体搏斗，而是与那些统治的,掌权的， 管辖这黑暗世界，以及天上邪恶的属灵势力搏斗(弗 6:12)。＂我们需要为主日崇拜 的聚会守望祷告，为讲员和每个服事同工祷告，也为每一位来到聚会中的弟兄姊妹 和新朋友祷告。因为我们知道，当我们以祷告来到神的面前时，宣告神的王权在我 们当中，让祂的光照亮在我们之中，黑暗就不能停留，撒旦的诡计就不能得逞。 在崇拜前的祷告不只是为聚会守望，更是宣告神掌王权的时候，是我们与主同 工经历神大能的时候。以往受限于旧堂时间的安排，我们在崇拜前只能有几分钟短 暂的祷告。从 2015 年 2 月开始我们在聚会前 10:00 至 10:20 有崇拜前祷告会。虽 然崇拜流程或时间安排不会有多大的改变，但是我们相信敬拜前这段新增的祷告时 间会带来极大的更新。＂你们要恒切祷告，在此警醒感恩。也要为我们祷告，求神 给我们开传道的门，能以讲基督的奥秘（我为此被捆锁）， 叫我按着所该说的话 将这奥秘发明出来(歌罗西书 4:2-4)。

＂当我们为主日崇拜守望有更多的祷告，

神的话语必要在我们当中更新我们，使我们更认识神并经历那丰盛的生命。 感谢神的带领使教会有一群委身在敬拜团服事的弟兄姊妹。不只在崇拜聚会前 预备诗歌敬拜的带领，更渴慕在崇拜中与大家一同高举耶稣，让神得胜的旌旗在我 们当中，使我们的赞美成为神荣耀的宝座。王涵珺(Selene)姊妹在 2014 年怀孕期

2014 年刊目录 间仍然尽心尽力的服事，负责敬拜团服事同工的安排，直到生产前一个月仍在台前 带领诗歌敬拜。除了几个弟兄姊妹固定的参与敬拜诗歌带领的服事，从 2014 年中 开始青少年也固定每月一次参与诗歌敬拜的服事。在教会更有好几位弟兄一起学习 吉它，愿意付代价练习为要被神来使用。我们知道神看重的不是我们的技巧或恩赐， 而是我们愿意委身事奉的心志。诗歌敬拜的服事需要更多弟兄姊妹的参与，若是有 意愿的请与高玲姊妹联系。期待藉由诗歌敬拜的服事与弟兄姊妹一同尊崇神的荣耀， 将神配得的尊荣归给祂。也一同向神献上赞美感谢的祭，同享在主里的喜乐，使神 的大能在我们当中彰显。叫我们知道祂是＂主＂，是掌管我们生命的主。 教会在新堂的音响设备软硬件都更为复杂。在张瑜弟兄的协助下我们逐渐有了 更稳定的系统。主日崇拜的聚会也有了固定的录像并上传至网络，期望更多的华人 能因此蒙福。为了确保每周聚会的稳定性，刘三南，王凯及邵力闻弟兄在培训后也 加入了音控的事工。崇拜时二位音控同工因为随时要注意音量及各样的调整，在后 台的音控是很难专注的敬拜，因此我们需要至少 4 位同工可以每季轮替音控的服 事。聚会前音控也必需提早到达，每周聚会后当大家在享受茶点时，音控同工却仍 在会堂收麦克风及关闭各系统时，相信神都纪念这忠心又委身的服事。

英文事工部 English Ministry Robert Wu and Kevin Estabrooks 2014 is the year OMAC English ministry experienced big changes. We all felt the presence of God’s love and grace with us throughout the year. In the first 3 months of the year, we worshiped at our old building at Chapel Street. It was emotional because everybody knew that we were going to move soon. It had been 11 years since we started our first English worship and many of brothers and sisters have accepted Christ and been baptised in our English congregation. Some of them have left for universities. There were so many speakers, both inside and outside the church, who came to help us through the years. During our last worship in March, we had thanksgiving worship. Many of

2014 年刊目录 us went up and gave testimony. Our past member Amy sent us a letter to give her appreciation. May glory go to our Lord. I also want to appreciate Pastor Gabriel for his work at our English congregation in last 4 years. Thank you, pastor Gabe and Estella. In Aril 2014, we moved into our new building at East Gate location. The English worship is combined with Eastgate Alliance Church. Pastor Bill’s sermons have helped many of our youths and adults. We have around 20 people from OMAC regularly attend English worship. Most of them are youths. Youth group has undertaken one big task this year. Each month they come to Mandarin congregation to lead the praising through songs and instruments. Many hours of preparation are spent on early Sunday mornings. Thank you, the youth worship team. Youth fellowship was vibrant and Kids loved it. I would like to thank Andy for his tireless effort throughout so many years to lead the youth fellowship. Pastor Chris left us for Peterborough in August. It was a big loss for us and we wish Pastor Chris and his family well in Peterborough. Shalom Chen, Catherine Wu, Jeremy Tian and Shen Yang were baptised during 2014. Paul Zhou has led the Adult English Sunday and Mable has led the youth Sunday school throughout the year. Thank you. 2014 年刊目录 总务部 GM 刘三南 执事 我们都是一家人我也用不着花里胡哨地吹捧我们的教会。过去一年让我目睹了很多 感动地方，也不免有些无奈的地方。总而言之大家有高度的自觉性，我只能说 keep up the good work! 给那默默无闻，为教会付出的每一位弟兄姐妹朋友们点个 赞，辛苦啦。 过去的一年来，教会的变化很大。我想大半都是向好的方向发展。我们终于能享受 到用自己亲手建造的教堂来敬拜和享用这个空间。我想大家也很满意。一个新教会， 还是需要弟兄姐妹彼此搭配适应这个新的环境而能充分利用好这个教会。 从我说起，我最不适应的就是崇拜时间突然变到比我上班的时间还早。我虽然不睡 懒觉，但我觉醒前，我喜欢做十五分钟左右的白日梦。梦到好吃的，好玩的，好看 的。我还得稍微起的早一点，去接学生。他们没醒的状态，我深深的有体会。所以 我一般周六买好早餐，一条龙服务。给他们提供包吃，包送的服务。给他们一个尽 量没干扰的时间段让他们的单单的去敬拜神。 同样，教会也一样，我们要把这圣殿保持的让人能感到来教会的目的就是敬拜，而 不仅仅是谈小孩，谈配偶，谈事业，等等。我们更应当在主面前安静。而维持这个 状态远远超过总务的责任范围因为这是人人都要去做的。每一个人都是这个教会的 一部分，我挑战大家，把咱们的教堂变成一个祷告的殿，一个庄严的殿，一个圣洁 的殿，一个高举十架的殿。 Ps: 一个合格的总务是一个无人问津的总务，因为要真有事了谁都会找总务去问。 按照这个指标，去年我是勉强及格，今年请大家忘了我吧。

Most of the time, the congregation is very self-aware and gets the job done when needed, hats off to all of you. To those brothers, sisters, and friends who served without recognition, job well done!

2014 年刊目录 The past year was certainly a year of upheaval, mostly for the good. We can finally enjoy the church we built with our own hands. It was very rewarding and the building was well received. With a new building, comes a new set of circumstances that the congregation needs to adapt in order to utilize the building to its fullest. Personally, I felt uneasy about changing the worship time to a time that is before my usually work day. I don’t sleep-in, but before I wake up, I like to daydream for about fifth-teen minutes or so. In addition, I have to wake up a bit earlier to pick up the students from our fellowship. I know their feeling of not wanting to get up. So I make sure I bring breakfast for them so they can go to church without distraction and free of worries. By the same token, church should be like that. We need to make this space to invite people to worship. Going to church is more than talking about your kids, spouse, career, etc. We need to have a solemn attitude to worship. To maintain this atmosphere, it is up to us to make this church a house of prayer, a solemn church, a holy church, a cross-focus church. Ps: a good GM is an invisible GM because he will be questioned only when problem arises. On the basis of this measure, I barely passed last year. This year, please forget about me.

2014 年刊目录 基教部 Christian Education Department 朱冬 执事 感谢弟兄姐妹及牧师对基教部门事工的支持与帮助。2014 年的基教部，有几个新 的变化，如举办神学讲座、邀请外来的主日学讲员、图书馆把书分类摆放。各项事 工的总结如下： 培训（Training） 教会在 11 月中旬，与真道堂举办了加拿大华神神学讲座，邀请到周学信教授以及 华神的主任林利雄，讲座的主题分别为“失败的挑战”和“如风似气的圣灵”。这次的 讲座并为 2015 年一系列的神学课程做了个好的开始和周详的计划。感谢主，让我 们搬入新的堂址后，能有非常棒的设备，能够举办神学讲座来装备弟兄姐妹。 祷告会（Prayer Meeting） 今年的祷告会在地点上做了变化。从原来在教会一个地点变成在分别是渥太华东边 和西边两个地点祷告。东边的聚会固定在教会举行，西边的聚会轮流在弟兄姐妹家 举行。地点比往年固定一些，希望能让弟兄姐妹的交通方便些。出席的人数与往年 变化不大，因此地点并不是决定祷告会人数多少主要原因，希望明年能有增加。 成人主日学事工（Sunday School） 从搬入新堂后，我们有了主日学的教室。我们教会有三个教室，另外向 East Gate 教会借用了几间教室。这样一来，教室独立的环境让老师和学生都更能集中注意力。 中文主日学照常开设了三门课，分别是面向慕道友与初信者的课程、旧约或新约课 程、以及其他类别的课程。其中，其他类别的课程，又分别开设过教会大使命课程、 邀请弟兄 Wing Sung 来讲的旧约概论。课程多元化是今年的特点。 图书馆事工（Library）：教会购买了几个书架，图书都可以摆放出来，供弟兄姐 妹借阅。在牧师与弟兄姐妹的帮助下，图书根据分类摆放，清楚明了。今年的遗憾 是，没能够把书籍信息电子化，希望明点可以开展。 读经计划（Bible Reading Plan） 教会提供弟兄姐妹们每个月的读经计划，鼓励弟兄姐妹每日读经。

2014 年刊目录 福音差传部 Mission and Gospel Department 路明亮 执事 回顾 2014 年，是我们教会成立以来的重要的一年，也是最忙碌的一年。新堂的筹 建、搬迁，都在神的保守下顺利的进展。弟兄姐妹们在神的感动与呼招下，为新堂 的建立也做出了很多的付出。在教会从市中心搬迁到东区的过程中，不免会在人员 的流动上造成一些影响，也为我们在东区的扩展提出了挑战。对我们来说，东区毕 竟是一个新的环境，周围的社区对我们也不是很了解。尤其是周边的华人群体，更 是我们应该服务对象。虽然有很多困难，但是我们都相信，神带我们到这里来一定 有他的美意在里边，也一定为我们预备了所需要的。 在教会牧师、师母、长执会和有负担的弟兄姐妹的筹划下，我们在搬到东区没多久 就展开了对周边华人群体的事工的外展活动，其中包括 ESL 英语辅导的课程，健 美操，乒乓球，还有正在筹划中的 FSL 法语课程。每周六有感动的弟兄姐妹就会 在早上 9 点 45 左右来到教会布置场地和准备迎接新到来的朋友。 初期阶段，我们主要的目标群体就是离我们很近的一所中文学校。为每周六就会有 很多的家长带他们的小孩来这里学习中文。在这期间，家长们会在那里等待。所以 我们提供了以上的活动，为的是方便他们，让他们在等待的时候可以有一些放松和 娱乐的时间。我们开展的主要方式就是发宣传单，介绍我们的教会和我们的活动。 希望通过这种方式能够吸引新朋友，让他们能够对我们的信仰有所了解。 经过一段时间的开展，我们见到了一些果效，有一些新朋友开始加入我们。虽然人 数不是很多，但是对那些开展活动的弟兄姐妹来说，这也是极大的鼓舞。同时也给 我们如何进一步开展东区的事工提出了新的挑战。 目前基本上去中文学校的家长们都对我们有所了解，也都知道附近有一个华人教会。 但是真正对教会活动和信仰感兴趣的毕竟还是少数。这也是我们新的一年拓展活动 关注的主要方面。就是如何不但能够吸引新朋友，更要能够让他们对信仰有所了解 和参加我们的崇拜。这也是我们需要弟兄姐妹为我们祷告的事项。希望我们所撒下

2014 年刊目录 的种子能够发芽，成长，让神亲自做感动人心的工作。等庄稼成熟，就是工人收割 的时候。 在教会东区活动开展的同时，我们教会在 Deep River 的短宣工作也每个季度都顺 利的进展着。每次都会有不同小组的有感动，参加我们的短宣活动。虽然只是每个 季度一次的短宣，但是我们能感受到这对当地的教会是一种很大的鼓励。他们也在 努力的开展当地的华人福音的事工，希望能够有更多的家庭加入他们。 此外，我们原本计划去以色列的短宣，由于当地局势的影响，暂时终止。关于新的 开始时间，我们还在协调中。也请弟兄姐妹为去以色列短宣的团队祷告，希望他们 有很好的预备，能够在短宣的期间，服务当地的教会。这次以色列的短宣将会为我 们以后在海外短宣的开展奠定一个基础。如果一切进展顺利，我们今后还会在其他 国家开展类似的短宣活动，让更多有感动传福音的弟兄姐妹有机会参与其中。 总之，在过去的一年里，在神的带领下，我们教会顺利的度过了搬迁的阶段。在稳 定的同时，也开始着手新阶段的福音外展工作。希望能够有更多的弟兄姐妹参与到 我们当中，为我们出谋划策，让神国的事工在东区能够顺利的开展。在新的一年里， 虽然有挑战，有疑惑，但是我们相信，在神的保守下，在教会弟兄姐妹的帮助下， 我们教会在东区华人的福音事工一定会有所收获。

good;his love endure forever.” Psalm 118:26-29 20 14 has been an exciting year seeing the vision of a joint children’s ministry come together for East Gate Alliance and Ottawa Mandarin Alliance. It has been a tremendous blessing to follow the plan that God had laid out for us to embark upon. I am so thankful for the joint Children’s ministry team that was formed at the end of 2013. This team includes representatives from the different children’s ministries at EGAC & OMAC. The members are: Tori-Lynn Bebbington (December – August), Denise Bussiere, Carmen Choueiry, Debra Jackson, Sophia Lai, Ko-Yung Liu, Doreen Loo, Susan Pay, Darren & Amanda Shen, Lidia Taylor, Jean Trepanier (December – August), and this fall Brittany Fast has joined us. The Children’s Leadership Team met four times building trust and an effective working relationship. As part of the transition to joint children’s ministry we decided to “brand” ourselves with a new name and new mission statement. Thank you to Andy Chen for designing our logo. OMEGA Kids will be a children’s ministry that is able to reach children with the gospel in multiple languages comprised of a children’s ministry team that works together sharing the richness of our cultural backgrounds and the strengths and gifts of each volunteer

As 2014 began God had placed the word “relationships” on my heart. There were a number of areas where relationships were going to be vitally important in 2014 such as building relationships between EGAC & OMAC children’s ministry teams, between the children, and between our families, to name a few. Through East Gate’s annual chili dinner & skate night in February, at Rideau Hall, and two family game nights (March & October) we brought families together in a casual setting for play; a very important aspect of relationship building. In April as a children’s ministry team many volunteers from both congregations attended VAULT, a one day city-wide conference for those in children’s ministry. Volunteers were able to attend workshops of their choosing and network over the lunch hour. There is still much work to do in the area of building relationships among our OMEGA Kids families. Looking ahead to 2015 we hope that the Parent Class and other family events will enable us get to know one another better. Outreach A)

Community Kick

Community Kick was held July 7-11, 2014 at the soccer field at the National Resource Center off Montreal Road. We are appreciative of the generosity of the NRC as they rented this field to us at no cost once again this year. In total fortynine children attended. We welcomed back twelve children from last year, some of our friends from Faith Friends and previous summer day camps, and were thrilled to have twenty-one new children from the community attend. Pastor Chris and his team of skill coaches: Isabelle Bebbington, Aaron Buitenwerf, Luc Bussiere, Daniel Cui, Alan Kyoz, Justin Lavergne, Sam Mansour,

2014 年刊目录 Vishwa Raghavan, Soafy Ramamonjisoa, and Murdock Walsh, led the children through soccer skills and team building exercises each morning. Each day Pastor Chris presented an interactive gospel object lesson. We invited the parents to join us for a BBQ at the end of the week which provided us an opportunity to share about ongoing joint children & youth ministries. We were blessed again this year as Greenbelt Baptist Church lent us pinnies and three dozen soccer balls for our camp. Thank you to Denise Bussiere for being our First Aider, Jennifer and Jason Buitenwerf, and Sarah McLennan for their provision and assistance with snack, and a special thank you to Alan Kyoz for leading camp one day. We were so appreciative of Pastor Chris and his experience in setting up and leading this outreach the last two summers. It has been a great way to connect with the children in our community. Praying for God’s provision in 2015! B)

Summer Day Camp – Lava Lava Island: Where Jesus’ Love Flows

Summer day camp took place August 18-22, 2014. This is the eighth summer that EGAC and OMAC have joined together for summer day camp. Each year we have seen steady growth in attendees and most excitedly is the increase in children attending from the community. Once again this year we had volunteers from all three ICAC churches and the amazing ICAC youth band. It is great to see our youth developing as leaders through the various roles that they fill during the week. In total about 60 volunteers were directly involved that week. Many of you donated supplies and snack ingredients for which we were so thankful. Most importantly you lifted us up in prayer. We had 130 children attend in total with an average daily attendance of 113. Thirty-two attended from EGAC, fifteen from OMAC, two from FCC, thirtysix were new and forty-five were returning friends. Ten children prayed to receive Christ during the week and a small group of little ones too. “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endure forever.” OMAC youth did a great job running an afternoon extension camp, under Sophia’s direction, which was attended primarily by OMAC children. They

2014 年刊目录 enjoyed a visit from Little Ray’s Reptiles and an afternoon at the splash pad in the neighbourhood. For our Kid-to-Kid Project this year we ran a book drive for Books without Bounds which is a non-profit organization set up & run by two teenage girls in Oakville. They send books to First Nation communities in four provinces. We collected 823 new & gently used books, and $280 dollars to assist them with shipping to these remote communities. C)

Faith Friends

Faith Friends takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm from September – May. Currently we have twenty-one children registered and our average attendance this Fall has been thirteen. Registration is split 50/50 between East Gate children and community friends. We invite more families to join us on Wednesdays and to encourage their children to invite friends along. Thank you to Jean Trepanier for serving in the January – May session, and to our ongoing leaders Tanya Kahle, Cassie McMillan, and Chris Roberts. We appreciate Justin Lavergne and Sarah McLennan for jumping in when needed as substitute helpers. D)

Christmas Countdown

OMAC and EGAC decided to join together this year to host a Community Outreach on December 13, 2014, called Christmas Countdown. We distributed 2500 postcards written in both English and Mandarin. We invited the community in for an afternoon, sharing the joy of Christmas. They heard Chris Roberts share the Christmas story in a dramatic narration, and participated in a variety of activities which included family photos, crafts, cookie decorating, carolling, snowman building and the popular tea room. Every person received a gift bag with a booklet explaining more about Christ. OMAC served lunch for a pre-event that they hosted during which Pastor Gabriel engaged the children there with a Christmas lesson. In total we estimate between 150-200 attended Christmas Countdown.

To accommodate the increased number and to provide smaller class numbers, we added an additional class in September. It has been wonderful having teachers/helpers from both churches working alongside one another, teaching our children God’s truths. There is a large team now who are involved on Sunday mornings with Prime Time. They love teaching your children and get excited sharing what they see God doing in the children’s lives. 2014 年刊目录 OMAC continues to offer Children’s Worship during the pre-service Sunday School hour. There are two classes: a preschool class in Mandarin and a grades 1-5 class in English. The purpose of Children’s Worship is to help children worship God through singing, prayer and teaching in mixed age groups. Average attendance is ... The grade 1-5 class has been learning principles of their faith through various Discipletown Units studied, and the preschool class has been using CEF “Little Kids Can...” series. Thank you to Sophia Lai for her leadership of this ministry and to her team: Ko-Yung Liu, Elim Chen, Shalom Chen, Tingting Duan, Shurong Han, Darren Shen, Heidi Wong, Catherine Wu, and Vicky Wu. Thank you to Pastor Bill and Pastor Paul, and to Elder Ko-Yung Liu and the rest of the Children’s Leadership Team, for their support during this year of transition. Your encouragement has been a blessing to me in this busy year. Thank you for the opportunity to serve side-by-side in the work here at the International Community of Alliance Churches. OMEGA Kids Ministry Go N’Tell Team – Annual Update Please note: Go N' Tell is an interactive 'hands-on' missions education experience. During the first Sunday of every month, children participate in a variety of cultural activities, listen to missionary stories, and pray for missionaries and the country they are learning about. The following excerpts first appear in East Gate Alliance Church 2014 Annual Report, and are contributed by the OMEGA Kids Ministry Go N’ Tell Team. Go N’ Tell: Mission Education Grades 2-6 In a planning session in September, the team was blessed with the addition of youths to our team: Jason Buitenwerf, Daniel Cui, Jeremy Tian and Catherine Wu, joined Emmanuel Mousseau to support the Go N’ Tell sessions with their athletic energy and craft skills and love for children and accepting approach of children. October brought us to Niger and the team launched our Nickels for Niger Project: the mission that our children will financially and prayerfully support this year. The

2014 年刊目录 money will go toward providing necessary vaccines for children to promote good health. In addition, we also learned about Kristi Hopf, a missionary from British Columbia, who was sent to Niger to support a food and health plan and stayed to develop a school. Niger, being the poorest country in the world, needs educated children to grow as leaders in their country: leaders who have the heart and wisdom of our Lord and the education and skills needed to move their country forward. We revisited Mexico and Tomas Bencomo in November, and in December we were blessed to have Inge Qandah share some picture of the vineyards in the area where they live and about how Christ is the vine and we are the branches and we need to always be connected to Him. She stressed our need of Him always as we never know the types of situations that we will be called upon to intervene in on His behalf. It is exciting to see the Lord working through ordinary people willing to serve. It is a blessing to see our students growing in their faith and actively demonstrating their love and faith in missions at home and abroad. It is also our greatest joy to see several children expressing a desire to commit their lives to the Lord during Go N’ Tell, and the team has joyfully, with their parents, led them in a prayer of accepting Jesus. Go N’ Tell: Mission Education Grade 1 and Pre-School This past year we were using the “Everybody Ought to Know” curriculum by Kathy Felty. This curriculum teaches the foundation of mission’s education (how to serve with our hands) by building a Biblical world view (serving within the children’s world – family, friends, church, and community). This past year we have learned that we have “Hands to Serve”, “Hands to Give”, about people “Near and Far”, and “Big and Small”. In October, we ventured around the world learning about C&MA Global Missionaries within Asian Spice, Caribbean Sun, Desert Sand, Sea to Sea and Silk Road. During this class children did activities like Paper Sun(Caribbean Sun), Sandscape (Desert Sand) and Canada Day Magnets. We joined children

2014 年刊目录 around the world, playing games like “Finger Out Game” (Asian Spice), and Egyptian Tug-of-War (Silk Road). It has been an amazing year working with all children and teachers, and we are looking forward to more fun and adventure together in 2015.

2014 年刊目录 团契关顾部 Fellowship and Caring Department 顾中辉 执事 2014 年是国语宣道会的里程碑,我们终于搬进了自己的教堂. 我们 2014 年有 10 个 小组，他们的组长分别为顾学斌(长者), 孙菀鸿(学生),Andy Statia (青少年), 李立(姐 妹), 刘娜(单亲), 吴建广(Kanata),吴飞 (Barrhaven), 孙晓玲(Nepean), 胡金兰(Orleans), 赖 明怡师母(Gloucester)和区牧们黄鸿芬(Heidi), 林克胜(Jonathan),胡干城(Allan)。非常感 谢各位组长和区牧多年来忠心的服事，愿神纪念他们的辛劳，祝福每一位和他们的 家庭。由于 Echo 姐妹一家去了别的教会，牧师和几位同工经过多次努力，但都没 找到合适的在 Gatineau 开放聚会的家庭和小组长，感谢神 Jennifer 姐妹有负担在网 上用微信聚会，每星期六下午当 Gatineau 各位弟兄姐妹生意不太忙的时候，用微信 分享福音信息，很受大家欢迎。教会最近有一些说广东话的弟兄姐妹加入到我们当 中。若是神的心意，求神兴起组长来带领他们。我们有每季度一次的小组长聚会。 经过拜访几个小组和与组长们的沟通，有多位组长希望神兴起新的组长，使小组可 以分裂增长和后继有人。在新的一年，希望小组聚会有多些时间彼此分享代祷，门 徒培训和更加有传福音的负担去邀请新人，使小组可以不断分裂成长，成为更多人 的祝福。 2014 我们也建立了 online Google 文件来记录主日来的新朋友。在福音差传部周登 科长老和 Jennifer 姐妹的大力同工支持下，教会成立了新朋友欢迎小组并定期开会 讨论，每周主日负责接待登记新朋友和之后的跟进。根据记录，总共有大约 70 多 位新朋友来到我们当中，欢迎小组电话跟进和探访了差不多一半新人，但仍有很多 工作需要做才能留住这些慕道的朋友。在新的一年，我们会成立会友关顾团队（牧 者和长老执事）和新人关顾团队（欢迎小组成员和有负担的弟兄姐妹），准备一个 月探访至少一次并定期交流回馈意见和祷告。我们也在 2014 年开始了两次的新朋 友午餐招待会，希望借此机会表达教会对他们的欢迎，也可以更好的彼此认识。 团契关顾部也负责协调茶点招待（East Gate 教会负责茶水咖啡）和教会 potlucks 感谢神有很多姐妹们参与其中，每周准备可口的茶点使两教会弟兄姐妹可以崇拜后 留下交通分享。

新朋友接待服务 胡金兰 姐妹 2014 年，教会喜迁新址。宽敞明亮的新堂也呼唤弟兄姊妹更多的侍奉和加快传福 音的脚步。为此，新朋友接待服务团队成立了。这是一个新的尝试，期待神的智慧 和带领，也期待更多弟兄姊妹的参与。 在 2014 里，我们的主要工作可总结为以下几个方面：1）利用崇拜之后的交流机 会，主动与经常来参加主日崇拜的弟兄姊妹和朋友们交谈，以增加彼此了解和在服 侍上的协调搭配。 2）主动和新朋友打招呼，介绍教会的活动，以教会大家庭的热 情来欢迎新朋友初访。3）和新朋友建立联系，关心新朋友的需要，帮助新朋友加 快熟悉教会和加入教会大家庭的进程，也帮助教会实实在在地为新朋友提供帮助。 4）学习基督谦卑虚己，以爱心和真理来回答新朋友关于福音的疑问。这第四点我 们需要更多的学习和实践。 我们设立了欢迎台 和一季度一次的主日午餐招待。希望借着这样的机会来增加和 新朋友的互动，也给教会同工们了解新朋友，回答新朋友疑问提供一个楔机。为各 位弟兄姊妹的默默无闻摆上感谢神。愿神祝福你们。

主日茶点服务 胡金兰 姐妹 2014年4月迁入新堂后，终止了原有的主日午餐常规，试行茶点服务。其目的是延 续主日崇拜之后的主内交流平台。从试行的结果看，维持这样一个交流平台，让新 老朋友们，教会同工们有片刻停留与交谈的时间，对增加相互了解与关爱，侍奉上

2014 年刊目录 相互支持和沟通协调 都非常有益。目前，教会预备的茶点是以每周$10为最高开支， 以易于储臧的饼干类为主。选购时留意了食物标签，不买标示有反式脂肪的食物， 在同样价格范围内，优先购买标示脂肪少，纤维，钙，铁，蛋白高的种类。 试行8个月来，厨房团队以姊妹为主，弟兄是幕后英雄。姊妹们付出了他们的时间， 爱心和耐心，特别是在侍奉任务时间交叉的情况下，相互搭配，补空位， 甘心摆 上。当我们在慰劳我们的胃，倾心交谈共享主爱时，也同样注意到她们在厨房和大 厅之间穿梭的身影。很多时候，当众人离去她们仍在清理。愿神纪念她们额外摆上 的时间和劳苦。厨房侍奉团队要特别感谢那些自愿奉献食物点心水果的弟兄姊妹们。 他们的名字虽不在值班表上，但我们都享受过他们的爱心奉献。没有他们的奉献， 这个茶点交流平台会略显单调。2015年， 我们期待弟兄从幕后走到前台，欢迎更 多的弟兄姊妹加入这个团队，洗碗扫地，事情虽小，爱心颇大。欢迎建议期待改进。 让我们以马太福音25：40 共勉：“王要回答他们：‘我实在告诉你们，你们所作 的，只要是作在我一个最小的弟兄身上，就是作在我的身上了。’” 阿门！

2014 年刊目录 姐妹事工 Sister Ministry 李立 姐妹 2014年教会完成建堂工程迁入新堂。每个家庭都积极参与了和东门宣道会合作 儿童家庭事工的转折。家家蒙神恩典喜事接连，人人经主大能信心增添。 在这蒙恩喜乐的一年里，姐妹事工的中心仍然是联系姐妹携手同心祷告。任何时候 都有风风雨雨，家里也都有难处挑战。唯一我们能做的还是来到主的施恩宝座前祈 求聆听，经历神丰盛的恩典和同在。 与往年一样，姐妹们每周有妈妈祷告小组用电邮交流的网上祷告。每月第一个星期 三有姐妹在教会的祷告会。在祷告中，姐妹们纪念教会的儿童和青少年事工，每个 家庭和教会的各种需要，及在宣教工场的宣教士。当家庭事工或其它事工有需要支 持时，妈妈祷告会就用电邮网络来发动姐妹祷告和奉献来托住事工的需要。像儿童 暑期夏令营需要为孩子们添加每天的食物时，通过妈妈祷告会的联络，姐妹们在一 天之内补上了所有的短缺。在今年的各项事工需求和神供应的恩典中，姐妹们更体 会经历到不是我们自己能做什么，而是我们实在需要在主面前灵修祷告聆听主顺服 主的旨意。主所喜悦的是我们以祂的心为心，披戴祂自己的样式。姐妹事工所面对 的大致有两项, 一是家里“柴米油盐酱醋”类的过日子事宜，诸如婚嫁生养，病痛 变迁，相夫教子。天父的丰盛恩典今年赐给我们教会好几个宝宝。不仅我们自己国 语堂也有东门的姐妹蒙神赐丰盛产业。我们都有筹备及参与baby shower 共贺主恩。 也赞美主的恩典我们有姐妹今年披上婚纱走上红地毯。姐妹们也一起筹备bridal shower, 为新娘新的人生旅程求神赐福，同盟支持。 姐妹事工的另一方面是支持海内外宣教士。我们每月的祷告会都为在海内外的宣教 士祷告。年初时也为宣道使女筹备了宣教士装备费基金。这一年是蒙福喜乐的一年， 但愿我们在主里不忘记与主同行，追求主自己，学习顺服主，也学习体贴肢体，以 主的爱关怀这个破碎的世界和许多破碎的心灵。 ＂你们要恒切祷告，在此警醒、感恩。＂－歌罗西4：2 。愿新的一年成为我们在 主内恒切祷告，生命被主复兴的一年。

Despite of many challenges, we accomplished a lot this year. There were so many ‘firsts’ happened this year. May all thanks be to our gracious Lord. All praises belong to HIM! To testify GOD’s grace, These milestones are listed here: 

April 5,2014: we moved in to our new church building



April 11,2014: our new church building passed the final inspection and got the occupancy permit



April 13,2014: We held first Sunday service using our new building



April 18,2014: Good Friday, we dedicated our new sanctuary to our LORD



August 10,2014: we had the first baptismal service



September 20,2014: we held a BBQ thanksgiving dinner. Heart-felt sharing demonstrated God’s grace



September 21,2014: we hosted a grand opening service, both EGAC and OMAC sanctuaries were packed and the Honorable Prime Minister Steven Harper also attended the service.

January 21,2009: The first kick off meeting of building project committee was conducted

May 17,2012: The city issued the Site Plan Control (SPC) approval. Project architect, Latimer Hu produced a 3-D video for the project and Pastor Bill built a model based on the design. This video and model were very well received by both EGAC and OMAC



March 29,2013: We had a ground breaking ceremony on construction site



May 28,2013: The building permit was issued by the city



April 2013 to April 2014: The new church building was under construction. There were a lot of volunteers involved from the start to completion

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers for their valuable contributions to the project. Without listing all name here (it will a very long list), I want to thank Pastor Bill and brother Abdel for their passion and dedication for the building project and countless hours of volunteering work. 团契小组报告 迦勒 Caleb 小组 顾学斌 弟兄 我们迦勒小组的使命：一是学习圣经，装备门徒；二是肢体连接，彼此关顾； 三是牢记使命，传神福音。 我们坚持每月两次小组聚会，一次查经或听讲道，装备门徒。一次是形式多样的 其他活动，如郊外活动，感恩见证分享，参加布道培灵会，家庭探访，健康讲座， 聚餐等等。目的是吸引更多新朋友参加小组聚会，从而传扬神国的福音。今年，我 们小组先后有谢贤群，王菱和沈慧良受圣灵感动而受洗，成为基督徒。他们原来都 是从大陆来的无神论者，在很短的时间内能认识神，归向神，本身就是 神迹！ 陈牧师在《建造合神心意的教会》系列讲道中讲道：小组应以见证主爱为目标。 今年，我们组织了十几次家庭探访，我们几次去老人院看望患病的老人；去探访来 加探亲的老人朋友，了解他们的心思和需要；去有愁困的家庭给与安慰；去看望身 体软弱的弟兄姐妹，为他们祷告，求神医治他们的疾病；去慕道友家传福音，与他 们一起学习圣经，分享神的话语；去有生意而没时间来教会的姊妹店里，与她们一 起学习圣经，给她们送圣经播放器等等。我们还提倡弟兄姐妹之间彼此关顾，经常 打电话问安，交通分享，彼此激励，共同在主内成长。我们教会是个基督大家庭， 我们小组就像一个基督小家庭，在这里有小家庭的温暖，有主耶稣真诚的爱。不少 参加过我们小组活动的弟兄姐妹离开后至今还保持着与我们联系，例如去温莎的李 宗芳姊妹经常与我们保持联系；回中国新疆的黄素菊姊妹，还特意叫儿子打来电话 问候迦勒小组的弟兄姐妹；从武汉来探亲的易兰荪姊妹，回国后经常发来电子邮件 或打来电话问候我们，交通分享，她说：我常常看迦勒小组的合影照，我常常怀念 你们。

2014 年刊目录 路加 Luke 小组 Kian Goh Wu A year has just passed. It is time to write down what we have done in year 2014. This year, we studied a number of books in the Bible. We studied book of James, book of Jonah, 1st, 2nd and 3rd John as well as book of Ephesians. It is the Lord’s word that attracts us to Him. Through the Bible study, we’ve learned genuine Faith from book of James, god’s Grace from book of Jonah, God’s love from John’s letters. Lastly, through book of Ephesians, we’ve learned how to live up to our heavenly calling.

Our cell group celebrated the Chinese New Year on Feb 1. It was the second day of the New Year (年初二), the host family Wang Kai & Maggie made many of us feel like the Chinese traditional of married daughters visiting their birth parents, relatives and close friend on the second day of the new year (回娘家). We were very thankful for their generosity and hospitality. Praise the Lord that we spent a wonderful evening together celebrating Chinese New Year while living in Canada. It is part of our culture no matter where we live and we intend to pass on this culture to our children. We had 30 adults and 11 children showed up. Most of us showed up wearing new cloth or red cloth. That evening, we prepared the dumplings together, shared our home town food, sang our favorite new year songs and parents gave traditional red packet to the children. We are a truly blessed big family in Christ.

The new church building project started in year 2013. Our cell group participated in a numbers of the weekend volunteer projects, where we were helping out in the area of interior and exterior works. Finally, in Spring 2014, we moved out from 317 Chapel Street office of 18 years, and moved into to our new church building at 550 Codd’s Road. That weekend, our cell group program was to help our church to move. We were thankful for we finally have a church building of our

2014 年刊目录 own. On the down side, our home church is now even further East from Kanata. Pray that our cell group members will slowly adjust to the change.

This summer, we had 2 summer outdoor activities: BBQ Picnic and Camping Trip. In June, We had a BBQ picnic at Andrew Haydon Park. It was a fun day for us. We had 22 adults and 11 kids showed up. There were a lot of food, and a lot of fun under the sun. There was soccer game, water gun game, and a few organized parent and child paired up games. In July, we had a camping trip to Watkin’s Glen State Park in Finger Lakes, NY. Eight families from our cell group plus four other families from Daniel cell group. It was an amazing trip that we could spend time in the great outdoor and enjoy the nature God has created. Our hearts were praising God as we walked along the Gorge Trail which ran over, under and along the park's 19 waterfalls.

In July, OMAC is launching another round of selling $22,000 T&T Gift cards fundraising activity. For each T&T gift card dollar we sell, the fundraising will get 10% return going to our church building fund. We are so proud of our cell group, together, as a cell group, we sold $6600 gift cards. That means we raised $660 for the church building fund. Year 2014 was also a year of special blessing. We had 2 babies born: One baby girl Katherine to Minghui and Saixue family on Feb 7, and one baby boy Matthew to Hong Qi and Wenxia family in June 3.

May our God continue to bless our cell group.

2014 年刊目录 基甸 Gideon 小组 赖明怡 师母 基甸小组是目前唯一每星期都在教会聚会的小组。成员有新移民，访问学者 以及有青少年子女的家庭组成。由于青少年团契亦于星期五晚上在教会与 East Gate 青少年聚会，使我们小组的家长能安心聚会。 本年度小组重奌为培训门徒。为使新组员及新信徒都有专人固定牧养，我们特别在 小组下另设三个门徒培训小组，由吴允泰长老带弟兄小组，李立姊妹及明怡姊妹分 别带领姐妹和关顾。 我们聚会的形式原则上是一次合组聚会，一次分组聚会。使得在合组与分组兼取平 衡，更能彼此熟悉，并在灵里互相关怀，长进。此外，自去年九月份开始，小组的 姊妹也开始用手机上的 BBM，来分享每日读经和灵修的感受，并报告个人读经进 度，使大家能彼此守望，同走天路。还有，在去年一年内，我们也特别针对小组内 弟兄姊妹的需要，举办一些专题讲座和查经，计有：＂如何面对中年男性／女性的 危机；"使徒行传及雅各布书查经＂＂耶稣所说的比喻＂等等。我们也非常髙兴在 去年及今年(2015)初，小组有二位姊妹受洗：方励和李文燕。感谢主让我们有机会 和衪同工，看到祂改变人心奇妙的大能和作为。 展望新的一年，小组仍有不少艰巨的任务和挑战尚未完成：包括已信主弟兄姊妹更 深的装备--读经，灵修等内在生命的提升，以及外在传福音的具体行动，来完成神 交付大使命的重责大任。此外，如何带领新的朋友融入小组生活，也是我们这一年 重要的使命。＂看哪！弟兄和睦共处，是多么的善，多么的美＂（诗 133：1）期 望小组弟兄姊妹都可感受到在神家的美好！ 最后,仍要再次感谢 MABEL 姊妹，孩子们及弟兄姊妹的爱心,照顾看管并教导小组 内的孩童,使他们也可以有系统的受装备和造就!

Overview

This past year our joint OMAC/EGAC youth group has seen the departure of Pastor Chris Bebbington. He served the youth for many years and the youth were quite fond of him. During this last period with Chris, we had regular teachings from him and well organized sports games and challenges prepared by the other East Gate team members. -

Bedlam and Snowflake Retreats

The junior high OMAC youth attended the Bedlam youth event in the winter, joined by Chris Bebbington and the junior high youth leaders. The senior high OMAC youth attended the Snowflake youth event later in the winter, again joined by Chris Bebbington and the senior high youth leaders. Both events provide youth with a variety of physical activities and games to play during the weekend as well as instructional teachings each day to grow their faith and challenge them. These retreats are also crucial to build inter-youth relationships and to help leaders connect with the youth they otherwise may not speak to during normal youth nights. All youth that attended the retreats thoroughly enjoyed the time and some have noted the special speakers at these events to have had a significant impact on their faith. -

Summer Programe

Over the summer, East Gate maintained a weekly Wednesday youth group while OMAC remained on Fridays. OMAC youth were taught by Andy Statia during the summer during this split period. -

Leadership Changes

2014 年刊目录 When joint youth group rejoined in September, the team experienced a slight reorganization. One youth leader, Khale, had to depart the group due to schedule obligations. Another helper was required to take a year off as per the leadership agreement requiring any graduating youth to leave the youth group for a period of one year before returning as a leader. Esther also needed to reduce her participation due to her pregnancy and subsequent birth of twins. Despite this, leader presence at youth remains strong. -

Attendance

OMAC youth attendance has been reasonably consistent over the year at about 10-12 youth each week. The overall youth group numbers about 20-30. The loss of Chris did not impact the OMAC youth attendance. East Gate youth attendance changed somewhat, with some youth ceasing to attend while other new ones started. -

Transition

During the fall and start of winter, the nights began with an informal session where youth can socialize and play card games or minor sports in the lobby area. After this, an organized game is held which engages all youth for half an hour to an hour. Teaching was primarily run by Andy Statia on a broad variety of topics. No fixed curriculum was used for this period. Due to the majority of OMAC youth now being in senior high, Andy Statia will transition to be a senior high leader. -

Special Speaker

For one week, Pastor Bill Buitenwerf’s son, Jason, provided the message to the youth. Though we do not typically request or invite youth to give the message, this was approved by Pastor Bill, Andy Statia, Jason Christensen, and Esther Christensen well in advance. The message content was also reviewed prior to it being given and feedback was provided. The presentation was planned to be a surprise, wherein the teaching was started by Andy Statia as normal, but after experiencing a “distressing” phone call, he was summoned away and decided at the last minute to provide his teaching notes (which were actually Jason’s) to a quickly chosen member of the audience

2014 年刊目录 (Jason). The youth were suitably surprised and amused at this unexpected speaker for the night. -

Change Conference

All youth were taken out to Toronto for a youth conference called the Change Conference. This weekend event provided youth with a multitude of sessions to choose between and covered a wide array of relevant topics for youth. Our youth were free to choose their favourite session and were split up to attend them as they saw fit. They also had an opportunity to review the various Christian universities in Canada and receive information about them. -

Rock the Capital

The youth group also had the opportunity to attend the “Rock the Capital” concert night held in Ottawa at the Life Centre Church. Leaders and youth met at the site to enjoy a night of Christian musical artists and compelling speakers. -

Christmas Banquet

At the end of the year, we held a youth Christmas banquet, wherein the leaders served the youth dinner and allowed them a night to have fun and dress up in formal wear at the same time. Professional photography was provided at the event by one of the leaders. -

Future Plans

Josh Khale has been taken on as an intern for a period of 4 months and has started with the youth team this January. He will be performing most of the teaching, but will also be attending the various youth retreats to connect with our youth. Andy Statia will provide supplementary teaching support when Josh is unavailable.

约书亚 Joshua 小组 孙晓玲 姊妹 约书亚小组在过去的 2014 年中，每周五或六分别在吴键或 孙晓玲家聚会。聚 会内容包括：查经，看录像，聚餐，户外活动等。. 我们查考的圣经有 罗马书和创 世记。弟兄姐妹们轮流带领查经。每次查经前 ，我们先唱诗歌，然后一位弟兄或 姐妹作读经灵修分享。查经过程中，大家积极参与讨论和分享。查经结束后, 我们 有分组祷告。我们为弟兄姊妹的灵命成长及生活所需祷告，也为教会的重大事工祷 告。我们还观看了 movie "HeavenIs For Real"。组员们无论是本教会或来自其他 教会都极积参与教会建堂义务劳动。部分弟兄姊妹参加了去年十一月教会组织的 Deep River 短宣。 我们通常每月有一次聚餐。弟兄姐妹们做出最拿手的美味佳肴， 一起享用，其乐 融融。.感谢神，因着他的爱，弟兄姐妹们像一家人一样 ，彼此相爱，和睦相处。 在灵里互相扶持，事奉上互相搭配。像往年一样八月初我们去了 Sandbank Provincial Park 露营。 参加我们小组聚会的有：吴键，李红，赵诚，田红，周明华，裴素芳，王强，孙 丽梅，罗曼林，熊达辉 ，王燕 ，朱运法，夏海燕，周鹏，肖海珍，尚蔚，赵瑾， 程金铁，孙晓玲等。

2014 年刊目录 但以理小組 吳飛 弟兄 但以理小组是基于 Barrhaven 地区的一个小组，是以中青年家庭为主，平时小组成 员都忙于工作和照顾孩子，同时还有教会的侍奉，都感觉在日常的生活中需要神的 智慧来引领。所以在这一年中，我们特别选取了圣经中的智慧慧书来查考和学习， 其中主要是查考和学习《箴言》。我们用了一年中的大半年时间来学习《箴言》， 感谢神，借着对神话语的学习，让弟兄姐妹们更认识神的智慧是那样的深邃，也借 着弟兄姐妹分享生活中的经历，弟兄姐妹更加体会到敬畏耶和华就是智慧的开端。 感谢神，这一年中，我们也有机会请教会的周鹏弟兄来为我们做了专题的关于神灵 的专题查考与分享，希望通过多次的学习与分享讨论，弟兄姐妹可以更加深入的认 识这位又真又活得三位一体的神。 感谢神，这一年中，神继续为我们预备 Barrhaven 的一所高中可以作为我们周五聚 会时场所，同时也有弟兄姐妹愿意开放他们的家庭，使我们在有不同需要的时候都 有地方可以聚会。 感谢神，这一年中，我们有 Pastor Gabriel 可以继续帮助我们的儿童事工，同时 感谢 Bruce 弟兄，Joyce 姐妹在我们的儿童事工中付出的努力与艰辛，感谢 Heidi 阿姨和其他众多的弟兄姐妹为儿童事工中的侍奉，使我们在聚会的同时，我们的孩 子也有一个学习圣经，与神亲近的时候。 感谢神，这一年中，我们有机会组织弟兄姐妹到户外去与神亲近，看看神所创造的 美好，同时也借着这些活动，让弟兄姐妹更加的相亲相爱。 感谢神，在这一年中，小組中的許多弟兄姐妹在教會裡都有美好的服侍，参與到教 會的各項的事工當中，在長執會，主日學，財務，司事，司數，詩班，兒童教育部

2014 年刊目录 和崇拜部中，都有弟兄姐妹在服事，願弟兄姐妹們在這當中能深深為神使用並體會 神的恩典。 在过去一年中，我们也有许多的不足，特别是在灵命进深与关顾方面有很多的亏欠， 愿神的灵时时提醒我们，在我们软弱的时候，愿神的刚强成为我们的刚强。

雅歌小组 刘娜 姊妹 回顾 2014 年，是雅歌小组经历神的一年，是雅歌小组的姐妹们在面对困境时，学 习培养和坚固与神的关系，更加坚定地靠着神得胜的一年。 2014 年，小组里的一位姐妹靠着对神的信心，将在中国旅行期间因病入院的母亲 接回加拿大治疗。因着这件事，让这位姐妹经历到神，更加坚定了她对神的信，也 让小组中的每一位姐妹学习到神要我们如何在主里爱我们的兄弟姐妹——为她/他 祷告。 2014 年十月，小组迎来了一位新成员——吴姐妹。十一月，组里的姐妹们相继探 访了她和她的家人。这位姐妹因着对神的信，在她遭遇生活中的困境时转向神，她 的呼求得神垂听，得到教会里众姊妹弟兄的祷告，祝福与爱！ 展望来年，小组的目标是鼓励每一位姐妹制定具体目标为自己祷告，为孩子祷告， 为他人祷告；鼓励姐妹们摆上更多时间读经和灵修，让神引领我们的生活。

尼希米 Nehemiah 团契 孙菀鸿 姊妹 尼希米学生团契从 2014 年 6 月开始在距 OU 更近的地点 473 Cumberland Street 聚会，虽然刚开始有些同学们不太适应，但到目前为止出席人数以及反馈都不错。 神的恩典够我们用，在新的地点，不仅缩短了和学校的距离，还让我们有了更大的 空间容纳更多的学生。学生团契人员流动一直比较大，今年也不例外，但到目前为 止，固定聚会人数有 15 人左右。搬离旧教会后，学生们去教会的路程也相对的变 远了，但团契的弟兄姐妹们都很有爱心接送学生们去教会，让更多的同学有机会参 加教会的主日学及主日崇拜。2014 年，神为我们预备了新一届的同工，有 9 位同 学接受主耶稣作为他们生命的救主，有了他们的加入，事工变得容易很多。

2014 年刊目录 在 8 月初团契组织的 Camping 活动中，有大约 30 人参加。此次活动不但增加了 我们与同学们之间的感情，也让同工们有了更好的磨合和休息的时间。在 9 月份 开始新学期之时，团契开展了一系列迎新活动，这些活动大部分人数超过 40，对 同工们也是一种挑战，感谢教会的弟兄姐妹们的支持，得以让活动圆满结束。很多 同学通过这些活动认识了我们，也愿意来参加之后的查经、讲座。我们固定的活动 有由同工们带领的查经和 Jonathan 导师的讲座，这不仅锻炼了同工们带查经的能 力，也为同学们撒下了福音的种子。在 12 月，我们共 6 位同学参加了冬令营，在 那里大家一起敬拜、彼此服侍、学习，都很有得着，并且能明显感受到营后的改变。 即便现在各样活动都办得如火如荼，但学生事工却越来越难做。留学生人数逐年增 加，但来团契、来教会的人数却与之呈反比，因此，如何进行外展，如何把圣经的 话带到大家的生活中，使之深入人心,这成为了我们的主要难题。在接下来一个学 期中，我们主要针对这个问题会做出一些改善，例如增加讲座多样性，多做关怀工 作。也希望大家多为团契的学生事工祷告，愿神赐福尼希米团契，让更多的同学回 到神的家。

渥太华国语宣道会会规 (2014 年 10 月 19 日会友大会修订通过) 1.0 绪言: 1.1 本教会为加拿大宣道总会成员之一, 并接受其法规之权威, 故加拿大宣道 总会法规所规定之一切事项, 不在此会规内重述。 2.0 会友: 2.1 会友之资格包括: 已受洗基督徒,通过会友班课程,愿意遵循本会会规,经长 执会认可批准, 并颁发会友证书。 2.2 长執会负责每年整理及印发会友名册。 2.3 会友连续缺席崇拜半年以上, 长執会须考虑列其为非活跃会友, 会友权利 暂停, 直到他持续出席两个月,才恢复其活跃会友资格. 2.4 会友若有背道行为, 违反本会信仰或损害本会名誉经教牧劝戒不改者, 长 執会可开除其会籍, 被开除会籍者一年内不可申请入会。 2.5 凡自愿放弃会籍者, 必须以书面通知长执会。 2.6 会友须十六岁以上有投票权。 3.0 会友大会: 3.1 会友大会每年至少举行一次，日期由长執会决定。如有特别事故，长執 会可决定召开临时会友大会。会友大会须於召开两星期前通知会友。 3.2 若有五分之一会友联名书面要求, 长執会须於两个月内召开会友大会。

3.3 会友大会须有二分之一以上活跃会友出席方为合法。 3.4 所有决议须有出席之会友半数以上赞成方为有效, 但重大决议 (聘牧,植堂,迁堂)须有出席会友的三分之二同意方可有效。 4.0 长執会: 4.1 长议会人数除教牧外须最少由三人组成。执事由长议会任命。 4.1.1 长老之资格包括：年龄 25 岁以上, 接受水礼三年以上, 并 参加本会二年以上的会友。 4.1.2 执事之资格包括：年龄 21 岁以上, 接受水礼二年以上, 并 参加本会一年以上的会友。 4.2 长老任期为两年, 由一月一日起至翌年十二月三十一日止。执事任期是一 年。长老连任三届者须停任一年, 然后方可再被提名。 4.3 长执会议须有三分之二以上长老或执事出席方为合法。 4.4 会议决议须有所有长老半数以上赞成方为有效。 4.5 主任牧师及长執事会之二人(财务,总务)为教会产业托管人。 4.6 若有长执辞职, 其空缺可由长议会委任。 4.7 在被选出的长议会中，不可有夫妇同时一起在当中服事。 5.0 选举: 5.1 长议会提名委员会人数除主任牧师外有四人，长执会二人，会友二人。

5.2 长老候选人之提名须获被提名者同意。 5.3 长老须获会友大会出席者半数以上投票方能当选。 5.4 所有委员会委员, 各团契及各小组之负责人须为本会会友。特殊情况可报 请长執会批准方可当任。 6.0 圣礼: 6.1 水礼可由主任牧师按需要举行； 6.1.1 受洗资格: 十二岁以上，清楚重生得救,完成洗礼班课程,并通过长执 会查问信德,核准受洗。 6.2 圣餐至少每月进行一次。守圣餐者须重生得救,受洗后方可领受。 7.0 财务: 7.1 教会财政年度由一月一日至十二月三十一日, 财政结算须经会友大会通过。 会友可查阅帐目。 7.2 除主日经常奉献外, 其它奉献或筹款须经长執会批准,并向会友公布後方可 进行。 7.3 奉献者须将姓名及奉献数目注明, 方可於翌年年初获正式报税收据。 7.4 司数须由会友担任, 须报长议会认可。 7.5 每年经常费之财政预算须经长執会提交并年初会友大会通过。若个别部 门需追加预算 20%以上或总预算超出 10%，须经会友大会通过。 8.0 修改及其它:

8.1 主任牧师可按需要举行献婴礼，证书由长执会分发。 8.2 长執会之会议记录须向会友公布。 8.3 会规若需修改, 须由长執会起草并由会友大会通过。
