Primary Stages, Allentown groups announce auditions R e a d i n g E ag l e

Primary Stages will hold auditions for its production of “Junie B. Jones the Musical” on Monday at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education, 1100 Belmont Ave., Wyomissing. Callbacks are Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 6:30 p.m. Rehearsals will be primarily after 4:30 on weekdays and some weekends, and show dates are Oct. 22-24 at the Miller Center for the Arts. Six to 10 singing actors who move well will play multiple roles of varied ages. Although many of the characters are children, all roles will be

Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Breisch, Flying Hills, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married June 25, 1955, by the Rev. George Cressman. Breisch, son of the late Harold A. and Miriam (Fry) Breisch, is retired from Carpenter Technology Corp. His wife, Joan M., is a daughter of the late Leonard and Nora (Seidel) Wynings. She is retired from Literacy Council of Reading-Berks, West Lawn. They have two children, Ronald A., husband of Dawn, Greenfields, and Lori K., wife of Randy Hertzog, Walnuttown. There are two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter V. Alsegg, Womelsdorf, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 24, 1965, in All Saints Episcopal Church, Wynnewood, Montgomery County, by the Rev. W. David Crockett. Alsegg, son of the late Robert J. and Julia J. Alsegg, is retired from Rexam DSI, the former Wyomissing Corp. His wife, Lynndyl M. "Lyn", is a daughter of the late John Jr. and Helen N. Mooney. She is retired from the office of Dr. John H. Gallen. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with close friends and family at the Crab Trap Restaurant in Somers Point, N.J., and an RV trip through the Canadian Maritimes Provinces.

Schwab, son of the late Ignatz and Elizabeth (Spanitz) Schwab, is retired from Arrow International Inc. His wife, Gloria, is a daughter of the late Amos and Catharine Werner. She is retired from the former Campbell’s Fresh. They have two children, David, husband of Cathy, Fleetwood, and Lisa, wife of Craig Knouse, Blandon. There are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter McPhee Allison Elizabeth Westbrook and Peter Thomas McPhee were married August 9, 2014, at Sharksmouth in Manchester-bythe-Sea, Mass., during a double-ring ceremony officiated by Jo Maden. The bride of Boston is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Westbrook, Spring Township. She is a graduate of Wilson High School; Pennsylvania State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in finance; and Duke University, Durham, N.C., where she received a master’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance, Boston. The groom of Boston is a son and stepson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter McPhee Jr., Mansfield, Conn., and son of Christine Alesch, Ocean Park, Maine.
