Removal of previous PPA, & existing installation To prepare an existing installation to migrate to the new arrangement it's necessary to: •
remove the previous PPA repository
•
remove gqrx and all dependencies (gnuradio and all dependencies)
At the terminal the commands: sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:gqrx/snapshots sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gqrx
should do all that is necessary. The use of the ppa-purge command is not necessary, and very likely to cause confusion, since that command will revert, rather than remove, the gnuradio packages, with undesirable consequences. Addition of new PPAs and installation of GQRX The following commands will add the new repositories2, and prepare for installation: sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:bladerf/bladerf 1
