Founded in 1965, IDA is a community based non-profit, funded by area United Way’s and local donations. IDA serves children and adults in the NRV and provides inclusive educational, social, recreational activities, and advocacy. The cost of providing limited transportation to clients, the largest budget item, continues to increase! Opportunities to achieve a balanced life, increase self-esteem & confidence, socialize, exercise, have family respite, and practice appropriate social skills are a few examples of benefits gained in IDA’s programs/activities. Your support is vital in helping meet the needs of friends, family, and neighbors. Please share this information with Facebook friends, e-mail lists, & other community members.
