2015 CFHS ACAE Year­End Report   

Thank you for your support for the CFHS Alumni/Community  Academic Endowment.  Because of your generosity, in just two  years, we have accumulated $65,500 in assets to make a tangible,  positive impact on student learning.   Expanded opportunities funded by the Endowment  2016 

● Travel expenses for Language Day at the University of Montana 

2015 

● Registration fees for Junior Science and Humanities Symposium at Montana Tech in Butte  ● Purchase of business simulation software for struggling readers  ● Fees for Cocinando ­ a professional Latin jazz orchestra that performed and interacted with band  and Spanish students  ● Purchase of ACT prep books that can be reused each year  ● Travel expenses for the Independent Science Research class to access current and relevant  resources at the Mansfield Library at the University of Montana 

2014 

● Travel expenses for the MCTM Math Contest at the University of Montana  ● Travel expenses for Model UN at the University of Montana 

 

Donations  The CFHS ACAE is a 501(c)3 non­profit corporation,  donations to which are tax­deductible.

Upcoming  Events: 

The historic ​ Belton Chalet​  ​ in West Glacier is hosting a fundraising ​ weekend 

Friday, February 5 ​ to​  Sunday, February 7​ .​   A portion of all lodging and  meals purchased this weekend will be donated to the Endowment. Music from the  CFHS Flute Choir and a silent auction will be held Friday evening starting at 6pm.    Call the Belton Chalet at 888­5000 to make your reservations to join us!    Also… save the date for ​ the Endowment’s ​ Academic Arts Showcase​  to be  held on F ​riday, May 6​ .  This annual fundraiser will feature “A Taste of Columbia  Falls” highlighting the best restaurants Columbia Falls has to offer, as well as student  entertainment, and live and silent auctions.
