!!! SPECIAL EDITION !!! Join us for a fun-filled evening of entertainment by McDougle Elementary School’s fantastic teachers and staff.

3 rd ANNUAL FACULTY FOLLIES When: Friday March 18th from 6pm-7:30pm • Doors Open & Pizza Sales available at 6pm • Follies Begin at 6:30pm • Follies End 7:30pm

Where: McDougle Elementary Cafeteria Why: It’s a fun family event, supporting your school, your PTA and your children. • Great entertainment • Opportunity to meet other McDougle families • Giant play date for your kids • Pizza dinner • Delicious bake sale items • Raffle table For any general questions about Faculty Follies, contact this years PTA Fundraising Chair & Coordinator: Rebecca Poellot at [email protected] **Note: Bringing cash on the night of the event is helpful, as each item sold (e.g., raffle tickets, baked goods, water, & pizza) is it’s own transaction.

Pizza: You can preorder pizza (cheese, pepperoni, & gluten-free options) to make sure you have dinner covered for your family the night of the Follies. Pre-order forms will be sent home in your child’s take home folders soon. Pizza sold on the night of the event is on a first come, first serve basis and is not guaranteed. Bottled water will be available at the event for $1 each.

BAKE SALE: The PTA will hold a bake sale at the Follies. As the event gets closer we will be looking for baked good donations. Start thinking about what you may like to contribute. We always have a delicious assortment of goodies.

Raffle: The raffle is one of the highlights for the kids. They are each given two FREE raffle tickets to put towards raffle items of their choice. There is also an opportunity to purchase additional raffle tickets to increase your odds of winning. We have many great special event items, donated by teachers, as well as themed raffle baskets. Raffle baskets are created through the kind donations of parents/staff/businesses. Classroom parents will be sending out more information regarding donation items needed this year. All funds raised from the raffle directly benefit your children.

Volunteer: The success of all our events depends on our wonderful volunteers. We have many volunteer opportunities for this event (e.g., day of setup & breakdown, etc.). If you are available to help out in any capacity, please contact Rebecca Poellot at [email protected]

Misc: Keep and eye out for additional communications about the Follies in your child’s take home folder. We also want to thank everyone in advance for your contributions and participation. This is a successful event because it brings together our McDougle community and allows us to support our school while having fun together.
