INFORMACIÓN La investigación en emprendimiento esta prosperando, con cientos de académicos alrededor del mundo contribuyendo a nuestra mejor comprensiónsobre el fenómeno emprendedor. Las aproximaciones disciplinarias son numerosas, así como los temas de interés. Los esfuerzos son sustanciales, y los resultados ya alcanzados son considerables. De esta manera, la forma en que entendemos y abordamos las cuestiones se ve notablemente reforzadaal considerar, debatir y confrontar nuestro conocimiento existente y lo que nuestros compañeros están haciendo. Para un progreso fundamental, real y cientíco, necesitamos profundos y constructivos intercambios. El Workshop Internacional EMPRENDIMIENTO, CULTURA, FINANZAS Y DESARROLLOECONÓMICO esta diseñado especícamente para facilitar la discusión de alto nivel, alta intensidad y fructífero intercambio entre académicos en la investigación emprendedora. Este Workshop ha demostrado un gran éxito en sus ediciones previas (Caen, Francia; Cartagena, España; Namur, Bélgica; Klagenfurt, Austria; Lyon, Francia),

Por ahora, el ECFED es organizado cada dos años y la idea de crear un evento similar alternando con el original, surgió recientemente entre los fundadores, organizadores y colegas de México, Colombia y España, el cual será organizado en América Latina. Como se menciono anteriormente, la investigación emprendedora esta prosperando alrededor del mundo. Y en este sentido se está llevando una dinámica de investigación en América Latina, y un evento como el ECFED-CLA puede contribuir a su desarrollo. Por consiguiente, tenemos el gran placer de anunciar el primer Workshop ECFED-CLA que se llevará a cabo en la UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE AGUASCALIENTES (MÉXICO), los días 12 y 13 de octubre de 2017. La Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes a través del Centro de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, con el apoyo de La Fundación para el Análisis Estratégico y Desarrollo de la Pyme, FAEDPYME, (http://www.gaedpyme.upct.es/) están complacidos en dar la bienvenida a los participantes de esta conferencia.

TEMA ESPECIAL DE LA CONFERENCIA PARA EL PRIMER ECFED-CLA Emprendimiento y desarrollo sostenible:Los trabajos teóricos o empíricos, deben de estar claramente ligados ael Emprendimiento y/o la pequeña empresa. El emprendimiento puede participar en este desafío de varias maneras a través de: • Innovación, especialmente la innovación revolucionaria, encontrar nuevas soluciones técnicamente superiores; • Innovación disruptiva para los mercados de los países en desarrollo; • Innovaciones institucionales destinadas a modicar las normas en favor de la preservación del medio ambiente; • Emprendimiento social proveyendo soluciones innovadoras a problemas sociales sin resolver; • Emprendimiento ecológico que asegure el desarrollo de las comunidades locales de manera sostenible y sistemática.

INFORMATION Entrepreneurship research is thriving, with hundreds of scholars around the world contributing to our better understanding of the entrepreneurial phenomenon. The disciplinary entries are numerous, as well as are the topics of interest. Efforts are substantial, and the results already achieved considerable. That said, the way we understand and address the issues is notice ably enhanced by considering, debating, and confronting our existingk nowledge and what our peers are doing. For fundamental, true, scientific progress, we need deep and constructive exchanges.

In the last 50 years rises in living standards have been incredibly huge in all countries, especially in industrialized countries. It is the most important change that humanity has experienced, mainly due to discoveries and innovations in all sectors and branches of activity. Yet not only growth but better growth is required to address the tremendous challenges that economies are facing with ecosystem degradation and global climate change. Global warming and the ecological footprint – how much of the Earth’s resources does your lifestyle require1 – are the most important challenges humanity has to deal with in the current period. “Awareness is growing that a fundamental transformation in the way society consumes natural resources and produces energy may be needed”

The International Workshop ENTREPRENEURSHIP, CULTURE, FINANCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT is specifically designed to facilitate high level, high intense discussion and fruitful exchange between scholars involved in entrepreneurship research. It has shown a great success in its previous editions (Caen, Cartagena, Namur, Klagenfurt and Lyon), gathering a voluntarily limited number of participants in order to support strong individual participation and the development of convivial relationships.

To make progress on pressing environmental issues, more entrepreneurship and more entrepreneurial rms – new and innovative rms – can contribute. Entrepreneurship may participate to this challenge in several ways through:
