Everyone entering will be guaranteed a game. Event 3 – May be divided into 2 events dependent on number of entries - group 1&2 and group 3&4. Entries may be restricted but it is avoided if possible.

VENUES TO BE USED: Cool = Coolangatta, TH=Tweed Heads, Mur = Murwillumbah SPt = Southport BB = Broadbeach BHPB=Burleigh Heads Palm Beach SPECIAL FEATURE: EVENT 11 GOLD COAST TWEED REGION OPEN SINGLES ADVANCED LEVEL PLAY WILL BE HELD OVER 3 DAYS. Friday 13th July- Block play of 3 rounds starting at 8.15am (report 8.00am) Saturday 14th July – Block play starting at 8.15 Sunday 15th July. Complete Round Robins and then Final at venue to be advised The Draw will be devised to give players the most games possible. PRIZES will be presented at the end of each event PLAY: Will commence on SATURDAY 7th JULY (and each day) no later than 8.15 am. First round players must report to the Venue Manager by 8am. NB: If paying direct to the Bank please bring your receipt as proof of payment FORMAT: Round Robin in all Events. Finals will generally be knock-out between the block winners. PRIZES: Cash prizes will be provided for the Winner and Runner Up in all events. Special Prizes: For the player with the fastest game. For the player in Group 3 with the most peg outs For the player in Group 4 with the most peg outs GAMES PER DAY: In all events players may be asked to play 3 games per day depending on entries, except in Event 6OBE where 2 games per day will be played. Please indicate if players would be interested in playing “fun”games, eg Golf croquet on Fri 13th-Sat 14th at any venue (Not where the Open is being played). VENUES: Coolangatta – Goodwin Park, Lanham St Coolangatta Tweed Heads – Cnr Recreation & Steep Sts, Tweed Heads Murwillumbah – Knox Park (Beside the Tennis Courts) Brisbane St, Murwillumbah Southport – 1 Queen Street, Southport Broadbeach – Chelsea St, Broadbeach Burleigh Heads Palm Beach – Abelia Ave, Palm Beach CONDITIONS: 1. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the latest rulings as in the Australian Laws Book and Australian Tournament Regulations (dated April 2015) 2. Seeding: The seeding of players in Events 1, 2, and 11 will take place when entries close using the latest available world and Australian rankings. 3. Time Limit: All Events will be 2hrs and 15 minutes, plus Reg.16.3.1 with the exception of Doubles Events which will be 2 hrs and 30 minutes, plus Reg. 16.3.1. Because of time restraints it would be expected that in consideration of all players strokes would be played with reasonable dispatch. 4. Hoops for Events 1, 2, 4 & 11 and Group 1 Events will be set as close to 3&11/16 + or - 1/32. All other hoops will be within regulation width. 5. Players AHS Handicap Cards must be completed at the end of each game. THIS THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY. 6. Handicap Events: All events will be Advanced Handicap play or advanced level play. In the MMAD (Event 15) Law 43c will not apply. You will only be allowed to peel your partner 3 times, and a formula for bisques to be given may be adjusted in the interests of fairer competition. 7. Any Player who is re-handicapped after entries are lodged, but before the tournament commences, must notify the Manager as quickly as possible, especially if a different Group is involved. New handicaps that occur after the draw is complete and involve group changes will only apply at the Managers discretion. (ie.
