For your safety, and to make the collection of materials less costly and more efficient, we ask that you:

 Do not mix chemicals  Share usable products  Sort liquid paint type (latex, oil, lead-based)  Keep chemicals in their original containers  Place broken or leaking containers inside a second container of like material, for example glass for corrosives, metal for flammable  Label contents of containers that are missing original labels  DO NOT transport chemicals in the passenger compartment of your vehicle. Put them in the trunk or truck bed

Paint Stains and varnishes Paint thinners Antifreeze Transmission fluid Motor oil Solvents Degreasers Acids Drain cleaners Pesticides, Herbicides Fertilizers Pool chemicals Photo chemicals Pharmaceuticals Pest strips Thermometers Batteries Fluorescent lights/bulbs Thermostats Household cleaners Aerosol cans

We cannot accept:         

Tires Explosives Ammunition Pressurized gas cylinders Radioactive material Biologically active substances Empty containers Sharps Waste generated by business or industries

Anyone who participates in the vehicle emission testing will receive a new air gauge, compliments of the WDEH (Wichita Department of Environmental Health).

DO NOT PARK in the shaded area on Saturday, June 10th. Parking will be available in the far south lanes of the lot.
