2017 LCHS Kansas City Heart of America Invitational Choir Trip February 16-19, 2017 Members of Concert Choir, Main Street and 5th Avenue Show Choirs please return the attached commitment form prior to 9/19/2016 with an initial, non-refundable deposit of $75 for the 2017 Heart of America Invitational in Kansas City. Please consider the following items before committing to this trip. Dates: Departing Thursday, February 16, 2017 and returning Sunday, February 19, 2017. Times for departure and returning: TBA. **Students will receive 1.5 Excused Absence for this trip, but are responsible for their own make-up work, and must make arrangements with teachers prior to leaving. Trip Cost: Total: Estimated $365 which includes the following: 2 nights quad-occupancy hotel accommodations (hotel TBA). Roundtrip travel. Breakfasts, lunches, and BBQ dinner. Heart of America Invitational Performance / entrance fees Additional Costs for spending money, travel/behavior guidelines, chaperone information and finalized travel plans will be discussed prior to the trip. Payment Schedule: $75 – Non-refundable Commitment Fee due by 9/19/16. TBD Rules: All APS, La Cueva High School and LCHS Choir Behavioral Rules and Expectations apply. Failure to cooperate will result in removal from the trip roster without refund before travel, or being sent home at the expense of the parent. Please note: the LCHS Administration reserves the right to remove the opportunity to travel with the choir due to grade ineligibility or suspensions. There will be no refunds issued. Chaperones: Please fill out the commitment form, if you would like to chaperone. If selected, your payments will be similar to the student schedule. Chaperone cost is slightly higher than the student rate, but does cover a double-occupancy room rather than a quad-occupancy room.
