The West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA) is accepting rental applications for the second floor unit at 1192 Westminster Street. This c. 1856 Italianate building has modern amenities and historic charm. The unit can be occupied for December 1. Completed applications must be received by November 10, 2017.

Two bedrooms, a bath, a master bedroom with attached bath, kitchen, dining room and living room make up this 1,277 square foot apartment. Two parking spaces (one covered) are included. Phone and cable hook-ups are provided in each room. The unit was renovated in 2003 using HOME funds and repainted inside and out in 2017. It is available for a low-to-moderate income family earning at or below 80% HOME income limits for $975/mo. + utilities. * Preference will be given to West Side families. Tenants will be required to fill out the attached HOME program tenant information sheet as a part of this application and on an annual basis thereafter. Tenants also should be able to verify income with the following documentation:
Personal tax returns with all schedules
Business tax returns (if self-employed)
Current Profit and Loss business statement and Balance Sheet (if self-employed)
Two most recent Pay Check Stubs for all income earners in unit
Documentation of other sources of income. i.e. Benefit letters
These units were a part of the Providence Design House that added unique design features to the spaces. The unit is available as is, and tenants will not be permitted to paint the walls. It is the WBNA’s hope that the tenants will enjoy the spaces that many local artists and designers created.

Please call the WBNA with any questions or if you would like assistance in filling out the rental application. Applications will be received until November 10th at which time applications will be reviewed, prospective tenant’s references will be checked, and there will be a home visit by a WBNA representative and a background criminal investigation will be conducted.
