Registration Dates: April 3 – 21. Registration forms should be turned in to bookkeepers regardless of how you choose to pay. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Payment https://secure2.myschoolfees.com/start_v2.aspxor in person in the bookkeeping office. At least ½ of the Summer School fee must be paid by April 21st. Students will be withdrawn from classes if full payment is not made by May 5th. Exception will be Credit Recovery. Money will be due in full by June 1 or student will be withdrawn.

All classes and work must be completed by June 29th. Credit for summer school classes will only be awarded for classes taken at VHHS. Students in grades 10-12 will be given priority for upper level courses. There are no prerequisite grades for the non-Credit Recovery courses. There must be sufficient enrollment for an academic class to be offered (at least 15 students). Regular school policies and regulations will apply to summer school. Students may leave campus for lunch with parent permission. Absence Policy: Two (2) absences are allowed for the summer school term. Three (3) tardies to class or returning from lunch will be counted as one day’s absence from school. Credit will be denied once the absence limit has been exceeded. Anyone not returning from lunch will be credited as a whole day absent. All classes will meet in the auditorium on the first day of class at 8:00 am. Students need to bring pen or pencil, some paper, or notebook.
Tuition and Courses Offered (Tuition has not increased in over 10 years) Credit Recovery Courses (1 Credit) $350.00 Special administrative permission is required to complete more than one course for Credit Recovery. •

Credit Recovery Courses include: Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, English 9, English 10, English 11, English 12, World History, US History 10, and US History 11, Algebra IA, Algebra IB, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, Pre-Calculus If a needed course is not listed, contact Mr. Bruce at 402-5253.

Summer School Driver Education Half-Term Summer School Courses (1/2 Credit) $175.00 Dues All summer school fees can be paid online or directly through the bookkeepers at VHHS. The full $175.00 fee must be paid by May 4th or the student will be withdrawn from the class. Online registration will begin at 10:00 am on January 27, 2017 and end at 2:00 pm on February 9th. To register go to this website and choose your session: Student is only conditionally registered until full payment is made either online or at the February 16th meeting before school. http://www.slottr.com/sheets/4496358 Session 1 of classroom instruction will be Monday June 5th through Friday June 9th. Session 2 of classroom instruction will be Monday June 12th through Friday June 16th. All sessions meet in the upper classroom at the football stadium. Summer School Driver Ed classes meet from 7:30am to 11:30am. You must: a) Be able to attend all 5 days of classroom instruction. b) Have a valid driver’s permit no later than June 4th, 2017 or you cannot enroll. c) Be on time and bring a pen/pencil and notebook on the 1st day of class. On February 16, 2017 there will be a MANDATORY MEETING session. Full payment is expected to be enrolled. If you have not paid online prior you will do so at this time. Your enrollment is conditional until you pay the full amount on or before FEBRUARY 16TH. On February 23, 2017 there will be a SECOND MANDATORY meeting at 7:30am in the New Gym. You (or a family representative) must be present at this meeting in order to set up your driving time with your instructor.
