If you’re looking for a vendor space we have just that, both non-sales and sales spaces are available. There are vendor spaces as large as you want, with or without electric. If you do not provide an original Certificate of Insurance, include a check for $125.00 payable to the Reading Fair to be included on our Users Liability Coverage. Payment of the above will provide you with $1,000,000 of Liability Coverage for the 2017 Reading Fair. Note: Acceptable Insurance Coverage is essential to your participation in this Year’s Fair.

TO: ALL VENDORS A Hold Harmless Agreement must be signed by all vendors and exhibitors before setting up at the Reading Fair. This must be included with your Vendor Application, Certificate of Insurance and Payment. HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT Each Contractor/Vendor shall obtain and keep in force until completion of the “Reading Fair,” including set up and tear down, a commercial general liability Certificate of Insurance with liability limits equal or greater than $1,000,000 each occurrence. The Contractor/Vendor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance to The Agricultural & Horticultural Association of Berks County, d.b.a. The Reading Fair evidencing such coverage within ten days of the signed Vendor Application. Such Contractor/Vendor shall name The Agricultural & Horticultural Association of Berks County, d.b.a. The Reading Fair as an additional insured. Hold Harmless/Indemnification: Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all injuries to persons or damages of property or any other injury, claim, damage or loss of whatever nature, arising directly or indirectly from the Reading Fair. Contractor shall INDEMNIFY, SAVE and HOLD HARMLESS The Agricultural & Horticultural Association of Berks County, d.b.a. The Reading Fair and its employees, agents and volunteers from and against all liability, loss, damages, claims, costs and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of injury to person or damages to property or any other injury, claims, damage, loss, cost or expense arising from The Reading Fair.

VENDOR INFORMATION AND GUIDELINE Welcome to the 163rd Reading Fair. This year the Reading Fair will be open from Sunday, August 6th through Saturday, August 12th. Fair operating hours:
Sunday 1 pm – 8 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4 pm – 10 pm Wednesday and Saturday 1 pm – 10 pm
The fair office is open during Fair week from 12 pm – 10 pm. Office at the Reading Fairgrounds call: 610-372-2649. For vendor questions during fair week please visit the office at the fairgrounds. Note: We reserve the right to evaluate vendor displays and deny acceptance based on content. All vendors must be set up and ready for business each day 1 hour prior to the opening of the Fair. SET-UP
You may start to set-up your vendor space at 12:00 noon Friday, August 4th, 2017. All vendor spaces Must be set-up NLT 12:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6th, 2017. Gates will open at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 6th. If for some reason you will have to set-up later on Sunday, August 6th , please call Kathy Youse at 610370-3996 or 484-333-1239 to arrange an alternate set-up time. PICK-UP YOUR VENDOR PACKET WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO SET-UP. IN IT YOU WILL FIND THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
6 “weekly” wristbands A wristband must be worn by vendors and their employees while on fair property during operating hours. Please note that we are cognizant of the Department of Health regulations pertaining to food service workers. If you are a food service worker and can not wear your wristband, it must be displayed prominently on your person anytime you are outside your vending area. Failure to have your wristband displayed will result in being stopped and questioned by security or any association member. We understand that you may have more than six employees who will work different hours and different days. For this reason, “weekly” wristbands may be traded between on and off duty employees. Wristband exchanges between employees must occur outside of the main gate, as no one is allowed on the fairgrounds without a wristband.
You also have the option of exchanging one “weekly” wristband for 7 “daily” wristbands. “Weekly” to “daily” wristband exchanges must be completed on or before Sunday, August 6th at the office. “Daily” bands cannot be exchanged from employee to employee. You may purchase additional “daily” wristbands at the office for $5 and additional weekly wristbands for $25. “Weekly” and “daily” wristbands are not valid bands for the rides. You must purchase a regular admission wristband to take advantage of the unlimited ride package.
Parking Permit During operating hours vendors are allowed one vehicle parked within the main fair ground area. These vehicles must display a Reading Fair Vendor Parking Permit. All other vehicles must be parked in the general parking area outside of the main gate. During operating hours, vehicle traffic will be restricted. All “business” travel must be completed prior to the operating hours of the fair. If you will need to make trips during operating hours, please park in the general parking area. During operating hours there will be no vehicles of any type (including golf carts, etc.) permitted on the midways. If you have multiple spaces and need to travel between them please use extreme caution and only travel on the service roads. Please keep in mind, although opening hours of the Fair vary, there are visitors on the fairgrounds during the morning/afternoon for ongoing agricultural events, etc. Be cautious when driving through the main fair ground at all times. All vehicles leaving the grounds during Fair operating hours for any reason, emergencies included, must be escorted off the grounds.
