Need to be on A/B Honor Roll in 8 grade and be enrolled th in Alg. I or higher in 9 grade, and have an 85 average in th 8 grade science.

Check the math and science flow charts as you work on the four-year plan on the back of your course card. At course selection time, you are selecting the course next in sequence, either Algebra I or Geometry. Math Placement will not be determined until April, so at this time your student only needs to choose the next math in sequence. This does not require a teacher signature. Recommended math course will be based on the math placement process and it will be reflected on the Course Verification Form provided for your approval in May.

On the iNOW/Chalkable Home Portal and the Course Card to be turned in Tuesday, February 28th, choose either: th 210005 Algebra I if currently taking Pre-Algebra in 8 grade th 210012ac Geometryif currently taking Algebra in 8 grade Please make sure you read the Course Verification Form carefully when you receive it in May. If, at that time, you agree with math placement, you sign and return your approval on the Course Verification Form. If you DISAGREE with the math placement, follow instructions on the Course Verification Form.
