Freshman Parent Information Timeline ● Tonight’s meeting will:

○ Prepare you for the course selection and registration process ○ Provide information to aid in academic and extracurricular planning

● Pride of the Pack, a showcase of WHS programs, is the other half of your evening. ● At freshmen orientation in August, a parent meeting will provide an overview of life at Woodcreek.

Enrollment Steps Complete now if you have not already: ● AIR (AERIES Internet Registration) ● Make copies of all required documentation

(Drop off by February 28th for a FAST PASS!) ● Select courses on student Homelink account ● Schedule counselor appointment

Required Documentation ● Print and sign the AERIES AIR Enrollment ● Copy of Mortgage/Lease (current, NOT expired) ● Copy of Roseville Electric bill or PG&E bill (current, within last two months) ● Copy of student’s immunizations ● Copy Parent or Guardian ID

PASS Practices and Skills for Success ● Teach and refine the academic literacy, reading, and writing skills that support success in AP classes. ● Students with an interest in academic achievement but have NOT YET experienced an accelerated classroom; ● Students who typically earn scores in the “B” range and are willing to work toward the “A.” ● Students who are concerned about the rigor of the AP coursework and would like a low-risk “test run” *Incoming 9th graders who have already had success in GATE programs likely have the prerequisite skills needed for AP rigor and pacing and would not need to enroll in this course.*
