ORDER: In the Government order first read above, orders were issued to transfer the administrative control of the ten Government Rehabilitation Homes and the Government Care Camp, Melpakkam from the Director of Social Wefare to the Special Commissioner for the Disabled. 2. In the Government Order 2nd read above, sanction was accorded for the continuance of temporary posts sanctioned for the Head Quarters-Chief Superintendent, Government Rehabilitation Home, Chennai-6, Office of the State Commissioner for the Differently Abled, ten Government Rehabilitation Homes and Government Care Camp, Melpakkam for a period from 01.07.2011 to 30.06.2014. 3. The State Commissioner for the Differently Abled, in the letter 3 rd read above, has submitted a proposal to the Government for further continuance of the said temporary posts for a period from 01.07.2014 to 30.06.2017 in the Office of the State Commissioner for the Differently Abled, Government Rehabilitation Home, Chennai-78, ten Government Rehabilitation Homes and Government Care Camp, Melpakkam and requested the Government to issue necessary orders in this regard. 4. The Government have examined the proposal of the State Commissioner for the Differently Abled and sanction is accorded for the continuance of the temporary posts sanctioned for the headquarters-Chief Superintendent, Government Rehabilitation Homes, Office of the State Commissioner for the Differently Abled, ten Government Rehabilitation Homes, Government Care Camp, Melpakkam as mentioned in the Annexure-I, II and III for 136 filled posts of this order for a further period from 01.07.2014 to 31.12.2017 or till the need ceases whichever is earlier.
5. The staff (136 filled posts) mentioned in the Annexure I, II and III to this order will be eligible to draw pay and other allowances as admissible as per the orders in force. The Government also direct that the vacant posts mentioned in this order should not be filled up until further orders of the Government. 6. The expenditure in respect of the posts sanctioned for ten Government Rehabilitation Homes, and Headquarters at Chennai shall be debited under the following head of account:“2235-Social Security and Welfare – 02-Social Welfare – 104-Welfare of aged, infirm and destitute – I-Non Plan – AI–Leprosy Beggars Rehabilitation Home – 01-Salaries (D.P. Code No.2235 02 104 AI 0103). 7. The expenditure in respect of the posts sanctioned for Government Care Camp, Melpakkam shall be debited under the following head of account:“2235-Social Security and Welfare – 02-Social Welfare – 104-Welfare of aged, infirm and destitute – I-Non Plan – AL–Care Camp at Melpakkam and Special Home Kancheepuram – 01-Salaries (D.P.code No.2235 02 104 AL 0107) 8.
