In case such violations are identified, the examination result will be deemed null and void, and legal and administrative actions will be taken regardless of the time passed since the examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PREFERENCE APPLICATION AND METHOD OF DELIVERY a) Preference Application Form b) Passport/Republic of Turkey Personal Identity Card/Blue Card Photocopy (Alienage Permit) -Foreign Personal Identity Card/Residence Permit Photocopy -“Detailed Identity Registry Copy” showing the records of candidates’ mother and father for Blue Card Holders and candidates with dual citizenship (if one of them is Turkish Republic) (The information on all documents to be submitted at the time of enrollment must match with the information on the Passport/Republic of Turkey Personal Identity Card/Blue Card.) c) High School Diploma Copy (Temporary Graduation Certificate and Transcript showing graduation status) d) High School Diploma Translation (excluding candidates who have graduated from Turkish high schools) e) Certificate of Equivalence for candidates who have graduated from foreign schools -(Candidates are required to submit score cards for latest school year or certificate of education and diploma (“Apostille” certified original diploma) or a letter stating that they are eligible for diploma issued by the overseas educational institutions that the students study at for equivalency procedures. Equivalency procedures are performed by Provincial Directorates of National Education domestically, and by under secretariats of education and Education Attaché Offices at abroad, and accordingly, equivalency applications must be submitted to the said organizations. Candidates are required to have their Equivalency Certificates ready on the date of enrollment at the latest. (for Certificate of Equivalence additional period can be granted by associated department) f) Transcripts of high school studies (Academic Record) -Transcript Translation (excluding candidates who have graduated from Turkish high schools) -Grading System (conversion chart if not 100-point system)
Each candidate is allowed to apply for not more than two Faculty/Vocational School, and the applications of the candidates who are identified to have made more than two applications will be deemed invalid. There will be no possibility to make changes after submitting the preference application and the preference period has expired.
EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS Evaluation of candidate applications 1. High school graduation grade shall be deemed as 60%, and the interview shall be deemed as 40%, making a final score of 100, 2. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher high school GPA will be considered, 3. High school graduation grades will be evaluated over 100 whole points, 4. The vacant quota may be transferred to other departments in accordance with the decision of the board in case there are no applications submitted.
PLACEMENT RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT Assessment and placement results will be announced by the relevant units as well on their website. The rules prescribed in this guide can be changed if it is necessitated by the decision taken by the Higher Education Council after the publication of this guide. Foreign Students Acceptance Committee (YDOK) will determine the procedure to be followed in such a case. Rules stipulated by YDOK will be applicable in any and all circumstances that are not covered in this manual. Filling the announced quota is at Uludağ University’s discretion. Meeting the application requirements does not mean acceptance. A letter of acceptance will be issued and sent to the candidates granted with the right to enroll. Candidates can use such letters to obtain visa from Turkish foreign representation offices in their countries or to obtain residence permit from Bursa Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration if in Turkey (letter of acceptance will be sent via e-mail upon request if the candidate is residing outside Turkey)
LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM THE CANDIDATES ENTITLED TO REGISTER IN FOREIGN STUDENT QUOTA
(Any candidates failing to register with in the specified period will lose the right to register. Registrations will not be completed if there are missing documents.)
a) Original high school diploma and Turkish Translation of it approved by the notary or Turkish Foreign Representatives, b) Original Transcript and Turkish Translation of it approved by the notary or Turkish Foreign Representatives,( The document which shows the GPA in the Secondary Education) c) Copy of passport/ Turkish ID/ Blue Card The related document is checked, copied and the original document is given back to the student. d) After learning respective Student Number during registration, the Bank receipt that states the Contribution/Tuition fee is deposited. (All students including the ones who will first need to go to Turkish Teaching Centers will have to pay first semester’s tuition fee for their programs.)

Applicants who completed their entire high school education in a Turkish high school in a foreign country (Depending on the Ministry of National Education) or in Turkey will not be requested to submit a certificate of Turkish language proficiency. f) 6 passport photographs g) A document or statement proving that the student’s financial status qualifies for supporting higher education in Turkey h) Letter of acceptance i) Diploma Equivalency Certificate that can be taken from Provincial Directorate of National Education or Turkish Foreign Representatives. (If the diploma equivalency certificate could not be provided during registration, it should be handed in to the relevant student affairs till the beginning of academic year.)
j) Foreign Personal Identity Card/Residence Permit Photocopy Candidates who do not reside in Turkey are required to bring residence permits taken from Bursa Provincial Directorate General of Migration Management (İl Göç İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü). If the candidate does not have a residence permit but has a residence permit appointment for a later date, the candidate has to bring the appointment document for the registration and the candidate must hand in the residence permit and the Identification Number which is received after the residence permit to the relevant student affairs till the beginning of the academic year.
TURKISH LANGUAGE LEVEL Any candidate granted with the right to enroll under Foreign Acceptance Quotas and failing to submit any document evidencing Turkish Language Level at the time of enrollment will be enrolled as “Studying at Turkish Preparatory Class”, and student certificate and identification card will be issued to students who are permitted to study Turkish provided that they document that they’ve demonstrated adequate level of Turkish and start their studies. Such students are required to obtain their student certificates from the Turkish Learning Centers they are studying at.
