PRESS RELEASE 3DVista Launches New Software for Virtual Tour Creation Adaptive HDR- and Time Lapse Panoramas as Highlights Granada, SPAIN - 11th April 2015. 3DVista today announced the worldwide release of the new Virtual Tour Suite (http://www.3dvista.com/en/products/virtualtour). The software for the creation of interactive virtual tours has been a co-production with selected customers, most of them professional panographers and real estate agents from all over the world. Accompanied by a new website and many video tutorials, the software is part of a whole line of new products to be launched in 2015. Beyond the industry-standard combination of still panoramas, photos and videos within a virtual walkthrough, the program allows integrating interactive video and two brand-new types of interactive panoramas: Live Panoramas, or time-lapse panoramas, add a time effect to virtual tours and show an interactive 360º scenery over the course of a day, a month or even a year. The result is a dynamic panorama, that allows the user to immerse into time and space. → Have a look: http://storage.net-fs.com/hosting/2080/3/index.htm Adaptive HDR panoramas optimize photography in difficult lighting situations by dynamically adjusting light and exposure, depending on where in the panorama the audience is currently looking at. This means that whenever the audience is looking towards a dark spot in the panorama (e.g. the floor), the level of light will go up and allow them to see the area in perfect exposure. When moving their sight towards a naturally overexposed spot (e.g. a window), in turn, the panorama immediately dims light levels to properly display the area (e.g. see beyond the window). This mimics the way we see in real life (as the iris adjusts depending on where we are looking) and displays it on screen. → See example here: http://storage.net-fs.com/hosting/2080/16/index.htm Apart from these and more new technologies, the program features many functions that make the creation and use of virtual tours easier. “Having worked hand-in-hand with the crowd was fun and we believe it was worth the effort. We have implemented more than 750 suggestions in order to perfectly meet our customers’ needs, especially for real estate, tourism and security”, says Javier Cucharero, CTO of 3DVista.
