Division Squares Materials: Division Squares gameboard (laminate for use with dry erase markers), set of division flashcards, dry erase markers ______________________________________________________________________________

1. Work with a partner. Shuffle the division cards and place them facedown in a pile. Player 1 takes a card from the top of the pile, reads the problem aloud and says the answer. 2. The other player uses a calculator to check the answer. If the answer is correct, Player 1 draws a line segment on the gameboard. 3. Player 2 completes steps 1-2. 4. Players continue to take turns. A player who draws a line that completes a square writes their initials inside it. The player may also draw an extra line on the gameboard. 5. At the end of playing time, players calculate their scores. Each box with initials is worth 1 point. The player with the most points wins.
