Internet de todo (IdT) Objetivos Explicar la forma en que los dispositivos de red utilizan tablas de enrutamiento para dirigir los paquetes a una red de destino. IPv6 es importante para ayudar a administrar la identificación del tráfico de datos, que será necesaria en el futuro. Muchas direcciones ayudan en este esfuerzo, e IPv6 permite aliviar esta necesidad.

Información básica/Situación En la actualidad, más del 99% del mundo está desconectado. En el futuro, estaremos conectados a casi todo. Para 2020, unos 37 000 millones de dispositivos estarán conectados a Internet. Desde los árboles hasta el agua y los vehículos, todo lo orgánico y lo digital trabajarán en conjunto para lograr un mundo más inteligente y conectado. Este futuro de las redes se conoce como “Internet de todo”, o “IdT”. Si el tráfico, el transporte, las redes y la exploración espacial dependen del intercambio de información digital, ¿de qué forma se identifica dicha información de origen a destino? En esta actividad, comenzará a pensar no solo en lo que se identificará en el mundo de IdT, sino también en cómo se direccionarán todos esos aspectos en ese mundo. Instrucciones de la actividad para la clase y estudiantes individuales: 1. Lea el blog o la fuente de noticias “Internet of Everything: Fueling an Amazing Future #TomorrowStartsHere”, de John Chambers, con respecto a Internet de todos (IdT). Este blog se encuentra en http://blogs.cisco.com/news/internet-of-everything-2. 2. Luego, mire el video “Cisco Commercial: Tomorrow Starts Here” que se encuentra en la mitad de la página. 3. A continuación, navegue hasta la página principal de IdT, ubicada en http://www.cisco.com/web/tomorrow-starts-here/index.html.Haga clic en una categoría que le interese del collage gráfico. 4. Luego, vea el video o lea el blog o el archivo .pdf que pertenece a la categoría de IdT de su interés. 5. Escriba cinco preguntas o comentarios sobre lo que vio o leyó. Prepárese para compartirlo con la clase.
