Tauranga Intermediate School

Thank you TECT for your donation of $100,000 for our Kia Ora / Dear Parents, Caregivers, Students and Friends of Tauranga Intermediate School I am sad yet delighted to inform you that Gareth Scholes will be leaving Tauranga Intermediate at the end of this week to take up a position as Principal of Matamata Primary as from the commencement of Term Four. Gareth was a student at Tauranga Intermediate School in years 7 and 8, he was a student teacher here, a teacher, a Syndicate Leader and a Deputy Principal. He has been a loyal member of the Tauranga Intermediate School family and we are sad to see him go. Nevertheless we are delighted for Gareth and on behalf of the Tauranga intermediate School community we wish him well for the future and thank him for his loyal service to our school.

The only other staff changes we will have at the end of term is Leticia Emery returning into Room 15 replacing Zoe Blissett and Brett Hampton is departing from the Sports department to take up full time Northern Knight cricket duties, Brett is being replaced by Amy Robinson. Term four commences in full summer uniform ie, sandals no shoes. School concludes Friday 23 September resuming again on Monday 10 October at 8.30 am. THE 13TH AIMS GAMES What a magnificent effort by you all, students, parents, coaches and supporters in topping the medal table once again. 1

As a Sports Department we wish to acknowledge our parents, coaches and supporters for the time and commitment you give to our school. We could not perform to the level we do without your support.
