Hoya bicolensis Kloppenburg & Siar 2009. Foliage ovate to lanceolate apiculate 7.8 – 12.5 cm. long and 2.0 – 4.0 cm. widest, triplinerved, prominent above obscure or less below. A basal pair plus midrib and a pair above, looping and anastomosing. Dull to dark green above paler below. 4

Hoya buotii Kloppenburg 2002. The typical leaf is elliptic-lanceolate with a long acuminate apex, base narrowly rounded. Blade is 10 cm. long x 2.5 cm. wide near the base. The petiole is grooved above, 1 cm. long x 0.09 cm. in diameter. Nerves are pinnate 7 or so on each side, at from a 30º to nearly perpendicular angle to the midrib; anastomosing. The growth of this plant is similar to Hoya cembra Kloppenburg, Hoya odorata Schlechter and Hoya paziae Kloppenburg except here the leaves are more undulant and rigid reminding me of a holly leaf.
