Pro Developmental Singles League (PDSL) A unique league concept focused on individual play and long match formats of 501 as seen on TV The Doublecork, Inc. Pro Development Singles League (PDSL) is for serious players who wish to advance their game to the highest level possible. The goals for many PDSL players can be anywhere from becoming a contender at world-class tournaments to developing their game against the best available competition in a professionally run, player-oriented league.

A Player-Focused League The PDSL is a league run by players for players with common goals. We operate with minimal bureaucracy and are available and eager to listen to players anytime about any issue.

Professional Match Format This league is focused primarily on a long-set format of the game of 501, which is currently the exclusive game in use at all professional tournaments. You will throw A LOT of darts.

Player Statistics

Playoff participants can earn money (prev. seasons’ A-Division champions have won over $400). Each player pays a nominal membership fee of $10 to participate and sponsors pay $100.

Each player is tracked by 3-dart average or “points per round” over their entire league career and can use this info to track their progress and benchmark themselves against other players. Performance charts and other statistics are also available.

No “Away Games” Since brackets operate out of a single sponsor for the entire season, players only commute to their sponsor’s location.

Play ANYwhere in the USA Our league operates remotely, so brackets can form anywhere in the United States where players have interest.

Internet-Friendly The PDL takes full advantage of the Internet to streamline administrative functions such as downloadable forms, player statistics and rankings, league communications and more. Brackets are REQUIRED to have at least one Internet literate member to manage bracket administration and communication.
