Evaluation of the school status with model template. Arriving SMART goals with the results of model template Estimate costs for attaining SMART goals. Assign task force and champions for SMART goals. Monitor work plan with improvement plan spreadsheet. Sustain the improvement achieved and continue Monitoring.
Development of model schools in Karur and Coimbatore districts in the following schools at 1. Renganathampettai 2. Velliankadu, 3. Erasinampalayam, 4. Soriankinathupalayam and 5. Mayanur 6. Thumbivadi

WHY DO WE NEED MODEL SCHOOLS? Only 65.4% of Indian population knows how to read and write. 350 million (35%) of people cannot read and write. In 1000 children, 82 of them been sent to hazardous labor jobs due to poverty. 5 Lakhs formal schools for population of 2,390 lakhs. 14% of schools do not have proper building. 38% of schools do not have black board. 30% of schools have only one teacher. 58% of schools do not have drinking water. 70% of children drop out before class ten (10th) .. In our vision, we have two Higher Secondary schools, 2 Middle and 1 Primary Schools. A total budget of six Lakhs is required for Y2011. (Higher Secondary School-1.5 Lakhs each Middle & Primary School -1 Lakh each)
