Academic Standing Policy A student shall be in good academic standing unless he/she has been suspended or excluded from the University and not readmitted.
Academic Renewal
At the end of the semester, if a student’s total institution GPA drops below 2.0, the student is placed on Warning 1 (W1). The student has 2 semesters to raise his/her GPA to 2.0 or higher before being placed on Exclusion 1 (E1).
At the end of the semester, is the total institution GPA 2.0 or higher?

No Student is placed on Probation 1 (P1). The student has one more semester to raise his/her GPA to 2.0 or higher before being placed on Exclusion 1 (E1).

Student’s total institution GPA is 2.0 or higher
After 3 years (Academic Renewal). A student may be readmitted to the University by an approved appeal from the Academic Standards Committee or the Dean of his/her college. (02) Students may qualify for an Automatic (Auto) appeal approval if the student earns a 2.0 or higher GPA for the last two semesters before Exclusion 2 (E2) or if the student is less than 10 quality points away from a 2.0 total institution GPA, only if the student did not receive an approved appeal after Exclusion 1 (E1).
