Online Account Opening Authorization In the existing process, the officers with valid user ID created in Kiosk Application alone has access to Kiosk Application and there is no mechanism to check the user credential validation from authentic sources. Like-wise, the data transmission between CSPs and link branches happens in flat text file format which is not user friendly. 2. With a view to improve the quality of checking of data entered by the CSPs, a provision has been made in CBS to allow access to Kiosk Application by the CBS users with capability level of minimum 5 in CBS. This will provide flexibility to the branches to authorize files / records originated by the CSPs. 3. The CBS screen, on the front page displays Kiosk icon. On clicking this icon, Kiosk Application opens and the users can approve or reject opening of account through customer authorisation menu. There is a provision to select records, individually or under a range period or Agent ID-wise. On approval, the Kiosk Application generates fic file and sends to CBS for opening of account and on rejection the data moves to CSPs for rectification / refunding of initial deposit and account opening fee to the customer. In case of CSPs having different link branch and upload branch (FIC model), FIC branch has to approve / reject the records. 4. The screen shot of the account opening authorization process at Link Branch is given in Annexure.

Annexure Kiosk Banking Business Correspondent (BC) Channel Single Sign-On through CBS Online Account Opening Authorization Process Flow The detailed process flow to be followed at Link Branch for authorizing enrollments is as under:a) The branch official having minimum capability level of ‘5’ will be able to access Kiosk Application through Single Sign-On window in CBS.

b) On selecting ‘Kiosk’ icon, the user will be redirected to Kiosk Application page. Under ‘Customer Creation’ tab, Customer authorization option will be available in the page.

c) In the ‘Customer Authorization’ page, the user will have the option to get enrolment pending details under Customer Reference Number for authorizing the enrolment individually or under period from-to date / Agent ID-wise for authorizing in bulk mode.

d) Accordingly the system will fetch the enrolment records and provide an option to ‘Authorize’ or ‘Reject’ the records.

e) Kiosk Application will prepare FIC file for enrolment records that got approved by Branch official and the rejected records will be available to respective CSPs to refund the initial deposit / commission amount and to rectify and resubmit the account opening request later.
