Tracer FIRE (Forensic Incident Response Exercise) will be a weekend long event aiming to empower students interested in operational cyber security with skills and techniques needed to conduct forensics analysis. Both days will consist of a morning workshop, followed by an afternoon team-based cyber security competition. Optional Active Defense tech talk Friday Sep 12th, 5-6pm, in BCH 125 Tracer FIRE Main Event Saturday Sep 13th, 9am-5pm, in IDE G6 Sunday Sep 14th, 9am-5pm, in IDE G6 This event is free of charge to all current S&T students. Attendees should have a basic understanding of computer systems, networks and general cyber security concepts. Food and drinks will be provided, as will laptops for the event.
