Dispatcher Active Shooter Situations Course Description:
Location and Time:
This 8-hour course is for dispatchers of all experience levels. It guides them through an active shooter incident. The class begins as the first call comes into the communications center and takes students through the process of gathering critical information, making the initial dispatch, maintaining officer and citizen safety, as well as, the impact on the center. This course is designed to help prepare dispatchers for this type of chaotic event.
