BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE The Department of Business Administration and Finance provides fiscal oversight of all business and financial aspects of the organization, in addition to providing administrative support to all our operational areas. We provide budget direction and strategic approach to planning our spending, and are committed to sound fiscal management practices and ensuring accountability in the use of student dollars. Some of the ongoing responsibilities of the BAF departments consist of: • Implementation and review of organizations’ policies and procedures • Risk Management – protection of dollars and assets of AS • Support the Audit and Finance Committees, and the Vendor Services Assembly of the AS Board of Directors • Presentation of quarterly financial statements to the Board of Directors • Annual Financial audit process • Preparation, implementation and oversight of the organizational Annual Budget • Administration of the Student Organization Funding and Student Organization Banking
