Dear Parents and Students,

December 2016

The 8th Grade Les Paul Band has been invited to perform the National Anthem at the Admirals game on Tuesday, January 10. We will leave Les Paul at 5:00 pm and arrive back by 10:00 pm . The total cost for the trip is $25.00 which includes transportation by coach bus to the Bradley Center and a ticket for the game. All performers must have a ticket in order to enter the Bradley Center. Parents and siblings are invited to attend the game as well. Discounted tickets can be purchased directly from the Admirals organization. The details for tickets for friends and family are on the attached form. Please do NOT include the band member in the number of tickets you purchase separately for friends and family. Band students must ride the bus to the Bradley Center. A parent who is attending the game may take their own child home from the Bradley Center. Please indicate this on the permission slip. I ask that the student and parent check in with me before leaving the game. Due to liability issues parents may not take home a friend of their child’s. If the student takes the bus back to Les Paul, parents need to be at Les Paul at 10:00pm to pick up their child. The Admirals organization has very specific guidelines for groups that wish to perform the National Anthem. In order to be in compliance with these guidelines, we will be wearing black pants, black shoes, black socks, and our band shirts. I will meet the bus at Les Paul by 10:00pm and provide transportation home for my child.
