ADMISSION NOTICE 2017 Course

Eligibility

(I) 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. [3yr B.Sc. (Hons) + 2yr M.Sc.] in Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development (ARTD) * English Medium

(10+2) Science stream or vocational Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in both 10th and 12th standard examination.

(ii) 2-Year M.Sc. In Agriculture, Rural B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Agriculture & Rural Development with at least 50% and Tribal Development (ARTD) marks * English Medium (iii) 1-Year Diploma in Agriculture and 10+2 in any discipline with at least 45% marks. Rural Development (ARD) * Hindi & English Medium

Please note the following: (1) Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 may apply subject to submission of their final mark-sheet before or on the day of interview. (2) Written test will be conducted for all the courses, however the final selection will be made through viva-voce/interview. (3) Subjects of written test for the course 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. in ARTD and 1Year Diploma in ARD: General Science, G.K., Current Affairs and English up to 10+2 level and for 2-Years M.Sc. in ARTD: General Knowledge, Aptitude Test, Essay writing in English on General Topics etc. (4) Relaxation of marks SC/ST category as per the Government rules. (5) Candidates may apply through online application system. Forms may be downloaded from the University website http://www.rkmvuranchi.ac.in. Duly filled in forms may be sent by post to: “Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, IRTDM Faculty Centre, Morabadi, Ranchi, Jharkhand –834008”. (6) Application fee: (i) Rs. 300/- for 5-Year integrated M.Sc. ARTD and 2-Year M.Sc. ARTD, (ii) Rs. 200/- for Diploma in ARD. (7) Application form is also available at (i) Belur main campus of the University located at Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal and (ii) IRTDM Faculty Centre, Morabadi, Ranchi, during office hours (Monday to Saturday). (8) Written Test Venue: Ranchi and Belur Math campuses. Outstation candidates will have the option of appearing for their written test at any of the nearest centers of Ramakrishna Math / Ramakrishna Mission in their own state provided they inform us and obtain permission from us sufficiently in advance.
