AGENDA OJAI BUILDING APPEALS BOARD September 8, 2015 The meeting of the Ojai Building Appeals Board will be called to order on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Ojai City Hall, 401 S. Ventura Street, Ojai, California. Members of the public wishing to address the Building Appeals Board on items appearing on the agenda are requested to complete a “speaker’s card” and file it with the Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. Cards are available in the lobby. Speakers should state their name and address for the record and limit your comments to three minutes or less. Comments must be directed to the Board, not the audience. While the Building Appeals Board is in session all in attendance are expected to maintain order and decorum and to obey the orders of the Chair. Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Public Communications Public Communications is the time set-aside during the Building Appeals Board meeting for members of the public to address the Building Appeals Board on items of City business other than scheduled agenda items. Matters raised at this time may be briefly discussed by the Board, and will generally be referred to staff and/or placed on a subsequent agenda. Under State law, other than for emergency items, no action on non-agendized items can be taken at this meeting. Consent Items 1. Discuss and make recommended changes to Title 9, Chapter 15: Vacant Property Maintenance, Security and Registration, Recommended Annual Fees and Fines, Recommended Processes and Procedures relating to implementation of Title 9, Chapter 15. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Building Appeals Board review the proposed ordinance and fees, and provide recommendations to the City Council.
