AHEAD Multiprimer Floor Advanced water based primer For sealing of porous concrete and for sealing of the ZEBRA anode

Description AHEAD Multiprimer Floor is a primer, based on a mild, water-based epoxy resin with high penetration into concrete and other mineralic substrates. AHEAD Multiprimer Floor is used as a primer for AHEAD Levelling Layer and AHEAD Ax/ECH. AHEAD Multiprimer Floor ensures good adhesion between the individual layers and does not implicate the cathodic protection processes. AHEAD Multiprimer Floor is permeable to water vapor. Areas of application Water-based, low on emissions (VOC), 2-component primer for adhesion promotion on ZEBRA Conductive paint for subsequent AHEAD Levelling Layer or AHEAD Ax/ECH application. For floor slabs in combination with quartz sand broadcasting (necessary). Preparation Concrete The substrate, coated with the ZEBRA Conductive paint must be dry and free from adhesion inhibiting substances. The sheet resistance of ZEBRA Conductive paint may not be higher, than 50 Ohm / sqm. Tensile strength of the prepared concrete substrate from 1.5 N / mm​2​ in middle must be demonstrated. Mixing ratio Stir component A and component B slowly. With a slow running mixer, both components at 300 rpm, mix for about 3 minutes slow. Then re-pott into a clean container and mix again. The temperature must not fall below 15​ ​o​C when mixing. Processing time At +10°C: approx. 60 min At +20°C: approx. 45 min At +30°C: approx. 30 min Application AHEAD Multiprimer Floor can be rolled or sprayed on surface. AHEAD Multiprimer Floor is processed with a consumption of 0.3 - 0.5 l / sqm. Consumption depending on ground conditions. The ZEBRA anode shall be at least 2-3 days old, (dependent of on-site temperature and environment), dry, clean and ​checked for adhesive tensile strength. The electrical conductivity of the ZEBRA Conductive Paint must be proved in accordance with the specifications. The whole surface must be primed with AHEAD Multiprimer Floor. In fresh condition, AHEAD Multiprimer Floor must be broadcasted with quartz sand 0.2 - 0.5mm in excess. It is important to ensure that no smooth, non-sanded areas remains! On the following day, the non-bonded quartz sand, must be removed!
