NOTICE OF CLASSIFIED JOB LISTING AIDE The Laurel School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Aide. This is a Level III position, up to seven hours per school day, with a starting wage of $12.90 per hour. QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and additionally meet ONE of the following criteria: 1) an Associate Degree, 2) two years of study at an institution of higher education, or 3) a passing score on an assessment of reading, writing, and math ability with a list of criteria used to determine the passing score. Successful applicant may be working with special needs students. Applicant must be able to supervise students in the school building, as well as during the lunch hour and outside, work well with adults and students, be in good physical health, able to follow instructions, and be able to supervise and control students in a nurturing manner.
