Dear Alumni Your alma mater, the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) has entered into the golden Jubilee year of its establishment. It was in the year 1964 when the first batch was admitted for the B.E.(Ag.) degree course in this institution. Thereafter, with the active involvement and cooperation of the staff and students, we witnessed institution's overall development in leaps and bounds year by year. As founder Dean of the College and Vice-Chancellor, Sukhadia University, Udaipur and Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner, I had an opportunity to interact with the number of alumnus from time to time working in government sector, private institution, banking sector, industries and research institution and all those have shown very keen interest to be associated with the institutional developmental activities. With great pleasure, I take this opportunity to inform you that CTAE has been adjudged Outstanding Institution in the Northern Region by NITTRE, Chandigarh for the year 2013. It has also been selected for implementation of World Bank assisted “Technical Education Quality Improvement Program” (TEQIP) Phase-II for the period of 2010-2015 with financial aid of Rs.10.00 crores. The college administration along with CTAE Alumni Society has decided to organize year-long activities during its GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR-2014 dedicated to the professional and academic development of the students, the alumni and the faculty. As part of this celebration, three day Golden Jubilee Meet has been scheduled during December 26 -28, 2014 (changed from October 10-12, 2014) so that we all can meet and interact with each other and can share our experiences as well as can discuss long term proposals for the college and alumni society. Your active cooperation and dedicated support is solicited for the success of this event with your whole hearted involvement by way of your personal gracious presence and financial aid and other initiatives to strengthen the CTAE Alumni Society Corpus Fund for strengthening research and innovation. I hope you will register yourself immediately and will help in early planning of the events. Hope to meet you with family in December 2014…

Major Activities · Publication & release of “CTAE Golden Jubilee Directory” including detailed profile of all members. Please email/send your details as per format available on website. · Publication & release of a souvenir on “Role of engineers in the development of society”. Kindly send one page brief note highlighting the special achievement/activities undertaken by you /your organization/institution for the benefit of the society. · Organization of “Technology Exhibition” on Dec 26-27, 2014 highlighting various latest technological developments. Please ensure good participation in this show as well. · To bestow “Scroll of Honour” to society members for outstanding achievements/professional services to the society, you are requested to send one page summary of self-appraisal highlighting your achievements upto 30-9-2014. Decision of CTAE Alumni Society for selection will be final.

Appeal All the members are requested to arrange/provide advertisement to be included in the directory & souvenir as well as donate generously for the college/society to strengthen society and generate funds for alumni building, scholarship, innovation, etc. Everyone has to share this responsibility.
