Provident Fundarecontained in nutegzs'otfl-'"lnoi"nFaitway Establishment code (lREc)Vol'l/1985-Edition. someimenoments have been made from time to time to address theconcerns raisedby thesubscriberi. il;;; a felt need to liberatize the provisions, raisethelimitsandlimplifytheproceOuru. 2' Theprovisions of Rule925of thecodeibidhavebeenreviewed andit hasnow beendecided to oermitwithdrawals fromthestateRaitway provident Frni (sRpF) forthefollowing purposes:(i) - Thiswillinclude. Education primary, secondary andhighereducation, covering allstreams andinstitutions, (ii) obrigatoryExpensesui?. betroilrar,marriage,funerars, or other ceremonies of serfor famirymembers o*p"ndants, (iii) lllnessof self,familyr"rb"rr-oi O"p".O"ri, "no purchase (iv) of consumer durables. 3' lt has been decidedto permitwithdra.war of upto twervemonthspay or three-fourths of the amountstindint at credit,whichever'is less.
