AMERICAN RED CROSS SERVING ORANGE COUNTY WELCOMES ANNE E. DWYER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ORANGE COUNTY (July 24, 2017) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Anne E. Dwyer, an associate in the firm’s Orange County office, has been elected to the board of directors for the American Red Cross Serving Orange County, a local branch of the American Red Cross, serving 34 cities and 3.1 million people. Dwyer began her three-year term on July 19, 2017. The American Red Cross was founded in the 1880’s and has been tasked by the federal government with providing services to members of the American armed forces and their families as well as providing disaster relief in the United States and around the world. The American Red Cross Serving Orange County works closely with local emergency management and other partners to coordinate ongoing relief efforts in order to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
